This poem is about how society portrays "Beauty" and how the media media and even some celebrates have high standards when it comes to having a certain look or size how perfection is the way to live, how the only way you will be accepted in society is by achieving these standards . I personally think that is all bull that everyone is beautiful/handsome in their own way! I struggle sometimes with this I am caution with my weight and have low self-esteem however i am learning how to love myself and not care what people have to say or what they think! Barnaby was always trying to be funny, but to everyone it was seen as stupid. maybe even Wally. wally was 16, and even for 16 he could tell barnaby wasn't in the bed headspace.
