During the very beginning of the turtles adventures they meet two new mutants Ara, an Egyptian cobra, and Hikari, a Black bear. Ara and Hikari are both ex assassins of The Shredder. when they meet they weren't the likeliest team but with april, master splinter, and other allies they become a kick butt team with the goal to take down The Shredder and abolish the Kraang invasion.

One day, Leonardo sees two students who he has never seen before and decides to be their friends but little did he know that they were hiding a terrible secret.
