A-” All Alex Shields wanted was one night as a normal seventeen-year-old girl with no pressuring expectations, no declarations of challenge, and no blood. One night! Was that seriously too much to ask for?! Apparently, because as soon as this girl steps foot inside the first partying house she's been to all year, things quickly take a turn for the terrible. All Nathaniel Magno wanted was to forget about all the awful things that happened in the last party by distracting himself with this one. Instead he finds himself trapped with the last person he'd ever expect to catch in the most popular girl's closet. But that's how things always seem to work out, when you're stuck in a walk-in closet.

Syren is the daughter of traitors: her mother is a White Heart where as her father a Black Heart. After her parents are killed, she's been taken in by her uncle to Antarcion, the White Heart Kingdom. Now she finds herself in the same predicament as her parents, but she didn't marry a Black Heart out of love. It was more of a political contract. What's more, she's discovered that she harbours a power alien to her kind within her. A power only the Darkmyrs should have, the eternal enemy of her as well as her husband's people. With the Darkmyrs after her and a husband that hates her, an unexpected ally and previously-thought enemy by her side, Syren journeys into the unknown to discover the secrets behind her power as well as the origins. She may even develop feelings of love, an emotion she vowed she would not feel after the tragic story of her parents.

Đôi lúc mình còn tìm được chính bản thân trong những thước phim ấy. Ấy vậy mà tập cuối cùng lên sóng lại phá vỡ đi tính chân thực mà bấy lâu nay mình luôn đánh giá cao ở bộ phim này. Tập 16 trôi qua trong sự nuối tiếc về một tình yêu đẹp gắn liền với tuổi trẻ nhiệt huyết chỉ vì sự suy nghĩ thiếu logic trong những phân đoạn cuối cùng của người biên kịch. Mình không cam tâm để điều đó xảy ra, ít nhất là trong suy nghĩ của mình. Do vậy, mình quyết định viết một kết cục khác cho Baek Ji Yin và Na Hee Do. Việc này không chỉ chữa lành tâm hồn đang rất sốc vì "không hiểu đạo diễn, biên kịch đang cố làm gì và tại sao lại suy nghĩ như vậy", mà còn đòi lại sự công bằng cho cả hai nhân vật mà mình yêu quý, bởi họ xứng đáng có một cái kết đẹp đẽ hơn.
