LAST TRICK Paranormal | Mystery | Urban Noir Chicago, late night. Latrell steps into a reckless haze-Cabrini Green, liquor flowing, dice tumbling, the kind of party where decisions disappear. Then, the morning hits. A hood chick from the chaos claims she's carrying his child. But something about her story don't sit right. Latrell digs in, and what unravels ain't just a pregnancy-it's a deep-web of deception, a criminal past riddled with missing pieces, and a serial killer lurking in the margins. One truth leads to another trick. One trick leads to another body. If he sees the full picture before his own face lands on a crime scene, it'll be a miracle.

This was solely on impulse btw - I never wanted to be beautiful, to look like a painting. I just wanted people not to turn away. - I have not written anything in a LONG while so I'm sorry for that I have had a lack of inspiration but this literally just came to me last night Some warnings you should be aware of that Toya is deaf/hard of hearing and there is also some graphic violence so I will mark that with an ⚠️ as usual Also as always there is 🏳️‍🌈 gay people 🤩🙈 not really the focus but it's there And I never proofread it so there's a chance that I left some mistakes in there ⚠️ Project Sekai does not belong to me, it belongs to Sega, Colorful Palette, and everyone else who made it ⚠️ Enjoy!

A tribute/fanfic to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™. However in this timeline, our protagonist is a 22 year old named Nathan Shine who is a rich son of big time actors who is just making his way in the world. Family friends with the Todd's whom him and the son of the owner (Matthew or "Matt" Todd who is a bellhop) of The Hollywood Tower Hotel are close best friends. This is a story of him trying to find himself and his way in the world- including love and discovering the true importance of the human relationship, something that the acting classing could not teach. However in the end, this tale is still a tragedy, and I think you may know how it will end.

3rd Place in Mystery/Thriller - Books Got Talent 2020 "babe where are you?" "Right outside the terminal. I don't see you." Daniella Spencer is flying to meet her boyfriend Luca just like she has done many times in the past. This time, something is off. Will she arrive at the right time? After the plane lands, she collects her luggage... but at this point, she would rather be surprised than try to force things so she goes out of the terminal... "Come here, baby girl! Come here to mama!" A beautiful voice is heard across the arrival terminal. Daniella turns around to witness what she can only call 'a picture-perfect Kodak moment'! As she stares at the young woman playing with her dog, Daniella realizes that the young woman was one of the passengers on her flight. She remembers seeing her on her way back from the bathroom. Her beautiful long dark mane captured her attention along with her interesting shade of pink lipstick. "Only a few lucky women in the world could pull off that specific shade of fuchsia" she recalled thinking to herself as their eyes met. "Aw Dani, I missed you too! Who's a good girl? I love you, I love you so much! Did you miss me? Where's Daddy?" A tall 5'11", leanish, shaggy-haired blonde man joins them. "Luca! Baby! I was starting to think the dog came alone to pick me up!" the beautiful young woman says as she lazily throws her arms around her partner. Daniella blinks rapidly as knots form all over her body. "What the hell is going on here?! What is my Luca, MY LUCA doing with this hoe? Are you... Are you f**king kidding me right now?... This is the deck of cards I'm handed today????" Daniella halts herself and thinks again. She regulates her breathing and tames her temper before continuing. "Was it The Universe's way of preparing me for this moment? Okay... All I know is that the only Happening that is Happening right now is me throwing hands at the airport at this fuschia b***ch."

Static Drift - The Folded Layer Some doors open in reverse. Micah thought he escaped. He was wrong. The drift isn't over - it's evolving. Reality has begun to collapse inward, folding memory into memory, self into self. In this final descent, he must navigate echo-worlds, haunted mirrors, and the layered lives of the versions he never became. Time bends. Identity frays. And through it all, something calls his name - a voice from before the lightning. Before the split. Before he ever questioned what was real. This is the end of the drift. Or the beginning of something even deeper. A story about memory, meaning, and the spaces between selves - where love lingers, faith fractures, and every choice could be the one that breaks the universe.

Inspired by The Lovely Bones (Alice Sebold). Thank you to my friend for writing the blurb. 'They keep looking for me. I keep watching them look. This is not a ghost story. It's a love story, shaped like a bruise.' When fourteen-year-old Emily Hart is tragically lost in a quiet accident no one saw coming, her absence echoes through the lives of those she left behind - her parents, drifting in grief; her older sister, angry and aching; and a boy who never really knew her, but somehow found her anyway. From somewhere in the in-between, Emily watches the world carry on without her - messy and raw. As her family searches for meaning in the silence she left behind, Emily begins to understand that letting go isn't forgetting, and that sometimes love lingers in the smallest, quietest places. Told with haunting tenderness and quiet urgency, This Is Not A Ghost Story is a story about grief, memory, and the invisible threads that tie us to one another - even after we're gone.
