Everyone knows how the original story goes, but what happens when you change a characters emotions? This is a first person pov's of my 'twist of the beauty and the beast'. In the shifting white, he saw the dread, the heat, and the torrid fear which he would set out to cause. His eyes shone feverishly, and the ghost of a malignant smile crept onto his lips. Revered, trusted and renowned for his adventures and fireworks, Gandalf the Grey has earned a steady reputation across Middle Earth. The Beast had tried very hard to get Belle to say she loved him. He went through extreme measures just to impress her. And when the Beast had saved Belle from the savage wolves, she had finally said the three words he was waiting for. But did it end in a happily ever after?

This is my entry for the twistfatechallenge. In this alternate universe based on the movie the little mermaid Ariel was captured by men on the docks and nearly killed but Ursula saved the red haired mermaid. Ursula taught Ariel that humans are all the same and that the naive young girl should stay away from them but Ariel had something else in mind.

In the original fairy tale, the boys could never leave- But storytellers molded and twisted the story into something more pleasant, something that lightened the heart of many. So, Peter Pan became, for the most part, good. But now, everything has been flipped back to the way it once was. Old will become new and new will become old. Enjoy. #twistfatechallenge
