Brett and Eddy are best friends and the two souls behind Twoset Violin! But little by little, things start to change... There goes another fanfic of mine because these two are just too damn inspiring. We'll see where it takes us, I guess^^. Since I really struggled with three uploads a week recently, I'm gonna change my upload schedule to twice a week because life's just so incredibly busy :'). They meet for the first time when Eddy is thirteen and Brett is fourteen, on a Friday evening. Eddy thinks, naively, that maybe they'll be best friends forever, but Brett becomes a violinist and Eddy doesn't; they've left each other behind, and their careers take them across the world to success and fame, two parallel lines always moving forward but never meeting. Until they do again. AU where Eddy chooses to go to medical school instead (or more accurately, his parents pressure him).

List of Medical Abbreviations: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (it's a certificate nurses can go for to show that they're competent in CPR AED stuff in the event someone's heart stops) [the reference in the fic: the first step to determining if someone is responsive/alive is to tap them on the shoulder firmly and say 'hello, hello, are you okay' - yes this is actually real] A. Fib - Atrial Fibrillation (an abnormal heart rhythm that predisposes one to stroke) ECG - Electrocardiogram (checks heart rhythm) GCS - Glasgow Coma Scale (it's to judge how conscious/alert one is) MCA - Middle Cerebral Artery (one of the large arteries in the head, that is commonly affected by strokes) definitely more medical abbreviations this time round. sorry guys D:

Brett looked at the bloody flowers filling up the space inside his drawer. Most have wilted, but the sweet scent was as fragrant as ever. "What should I do with this?" he mumbled feeling another fit of cough building up inside him. Eddy cough and cough. The doctor had told him even with the drug, his disease was eating him up inside. That surgery was the best solution for now. But he couldn't, he didn't want to take that path. He would rather die than sacrificing his feeling for Brett. Hiding their condition from each other while trying to keep their friendship that started to crumble was the worse thing for both Eddy and Brett. Both hiding their feeling inside their own Secret Garden, practically screaming for the other to break open the gate for them. The clock is ticking as more and more flower bloom inside them... "Goddammit, I Love you, Eddy!"

Eddy and Brett grew up on an island. Eddy resists change especially when it involves Brett, when in fact Eddy may have changed the most, all thanks to Brett. And it may have taken the two of them more than a decade to realise this.

over the years, brett had fallen in love with simplicity. the cautious beats of a song, the coordinated stepping of a couples feet that were practically intertwined as they walked down the street. but oh, how he did like a surprise. or, alternatively, they meet in a coffee shop.

I got this idea from @jsysparky and i hope they don't mind me making this into a full book!

[COMPLETED] High school students Brad and Edwina go through their journeys of gender transitions. Brad becomes Bradleigh and Edwina becomes Edwin. Brett and Eddy are their teachers who try to support them. Confusing? Oh and by the way, Brettany is Edwin's best friend. Enjoy ;-)
