There are a lot of possibilities to have powers of your own, some choose to use them for good, some for evil. So to keep people in check and to make them make the right choice in using these powers, birth union academy it's a place for huntsmen or huntresses, Quirk users, supernatural beings and all types of other people alike join this school in order to learn, train and use their powers or skills for good. The birth of Union Academy and the city also birth the legacy of several individuals. Union city isn't a stranger to stories or the rich history of the past of several legendary individuals but there are two legends that stood out the most to the top. One of them being of a legendary Demon called the Dark Knight Sparda and the story of two clans one of sages and one of witches.
