Rayewrite
Raye had always felt invisible. In class, in the cafeteria, even among friends, it seemed like no one truly noticed her. She laughed when others laughed, nodded when others spoke, but it all felt... hollow. She wondered if anyone would ever see her for who she really was.
One rainy afternoon, as students hurried out of the classroom, Raye noticed a small folded note lying on her desk. Her heart skipped a beat. With trembling hands, she opened it.
"You matter more than you know. Don't let anyone make you feel small."
She blinked at the words, unsure who had left it. Her heart felt lighter, her chest warmer. Someone noticed her. Someone cared.
The next few days, more notes appeared. Short messages, doodles, tiny reminders that someone was thinking of her. Each one brought a small smile to her face. She found herself looking forward to the notes, to the quiet comfort they brought.
Curiosity soon overcame her. Who was behind these little messages? One day, she stayed behind after class, pretending to gather her books, scanning the room for the sender. That's when she saw him Zaye, the quiet boy from the back row, staring at the floor, clearly nervous.
"I... I just wanted to let you know..." he said softly, "you're not invisible. Not to me."
Raye's heart raced. She smiled shyly, realizing that sometimes, it only takes one person noticing you to change your whole world.
From that day on, Raye carried a new warmth in her chest. She laughed louder, joined class discussions without fear, and noticed that small acts of kindness ,quiet, thoughtful gestures had the power to transform lives. And maybe, just maybe, this quiet kindness was the start of something more.
