This story is written mostly in English (about 98%), with some Telugu (about 2%) along with translations. -------- He rose slowly, still holding her hands. She stepped closer. Closer. So close that the boat rocked faintly beneath them. Then, standing on her toes slightly, she reached up and held his shoulders to steady herself. He instinctively moved his hands to her waist so she wouldn't lose balance. The anklets chimed softly and then.. she bent her head forward.. slowly. Her forehead touched his. The red kumkum on her forehead brushed against his skin, leaving a faint, sacred mark just above his brows. He froze. Neither of them moved. Her eyes were closed and his breath stopped.. the contact was simple. Sacred. When she finally spoke, her voice was barely above a whisper, but steady. "If you are my light," she murmured, her forehead still resting against his, "then let me mark you as mine before the world does." She lowered herself slowly, but didn't move away. Her eyes searched his. "You don't need a ring to bind me," she said softly. "And I don't need a ceremony to know what you mean to me." Her fingers brushed the red mark she had left on him. "This," she smiled faintly, "is my answer. My acceptance." His fingers tightened unconsciously around her waist. "I am yours," she whispered. "And you are mine. Not for a moment. But for every day that comes after." And she slowly moved into his embrace and hugged him, holding him a little tighter than usual, like she never wanted to let go. They stayed there for a while longer, not speaking. Everything you're about to read is true... but I've never confessed to him in real life. The story ends with a plot twist my real life hasn't caught up to yet. Happy reading 🩷

Branzy has always liked Clownpeirce, in a way. He never admitted it to most people, he always says their relationship is only indentured servitude but most players on lifesteal have already pieced it together that it wasn't "just" that. When he realizes he had deeper feelings for the other man and that it could possibly be unrequited, something seems to start bubbling up in his chest. Not butterflies that usually make people giddy - no, it almost feels... suffocating. Note: Just to mention, I'll be making the disease seem more violent and gruesome compared to your typical hanahaki aus.

Noel has a habit of writing emails she never sends - confessions, closures, almost-love stories she's too afraid to say out loud. They stay safely tucked in her drafts folder, where rejection can't touch her. Until five of them get sent. Now the boy she's loved since high school knows. The frat guy she impulsively kissed thinks he's involved. And suddenly Noel's private feelings are very, very public. When she ends up fake-dating Dean - the last person she meant to drag into her mess - she's forced to confront the difference between the romantic version of love she writes about and the messy, real-time version happening in front of her. Because living in drafts is safe. But love doesn't happen in drafts.

First, he was the mistake that hurt him. Then, he was the man on his knees, begging without the right to be forgiven. Somewhere between cold indifference, casual kisses with other people, and a deal that becomes desire again, two men learn how to share a bed without owning each other's lives. This is a love story built out of "no," rebuilt through "I'm sorry," and finally held together by "only if you want me."

"Aapko baarish pasand nahi hai raani sahiba?" "Bohot pasand hai." I smiled softly as we walked on the pavement and rain in drop of treasure. "Kyun?" "It's pretty." I smiled back at him as I looked at the rain from the shadow of the umbrella. "It's pretty?" He asked in question as he paused and something in his eyes seemed to change. I nod as we reach closer to the entrance of the building now under the shade offered by the concrete above as Shyam closes his umbrella and steps under the shade with me. We stand there watching the rain get worse. Or rather, better. . . . . Charvika Rajpurohit was a girl of few words but multiple thoughts. Having been through difficult situations in her life already at the age of just 17, this Indian classical music prodigy has herself going to a prestigious school in the loud city of Jaipur. Having been homeschooled her whole life, she's neither ready for school, nor for the loud gazes of Padmavati International School. Shyam Rathore had a heart of gold with a witty personality and teasing smile that had everyone unable to dislike him. Prone to trouble and yet a keen maths enthusiast, he had the balance one didn't think could exist. He talks to just about anyone and everyone without any hesitation until she shows up. When their worlds collide in classrooms, corridors, and stolen moments between lessons, sparks fly in ways neither expects. A slow-burn connection, subtle gestures, and stolen glances set the stage for a story about music, hearts, and the moments that change everything.

────────※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ──────── Some feelings are never meant to be spoken out loud. They simply sit inside you and make a home in the corners of your heart. 𝗗𝐢𝐥 - 𝐞 - 𝐑𝐚𝐚𝐳 was written in that quiet corner. This poetry collection contains eight poetic urdu verses written in the hope of being written to. It encaptured the feeling of unrequited feelings, passionate denial and irreversible limerence. Urdu is my mother tongue. And when there were poetries inside me that the English couldn't truly hold, my heart decided to bleed words in Urdu. However, I have included the English Translation of each poem for my non-urdu speaking readers. I have tried to imitate the effect of each poem in English too. A section is dedicated to the vocabulary used in every poem for clarity. I hope you enjoy reading this work as much as I enjoyed bringing it to life. And I hope you fall in love with how different languages can encapture multitudes of similar emotions in just a few words. ──────── ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ────────
