Book 03/06 (Current Version: Prototype - Version 1.0) This story/fanfiction is a 'what if scenario' within the Sci-Fi videogame series known as Halo and is based on an original character named 'Lieutenant Serenity McKnight' that partners with the legendary Master Chief himself, after the UNSC Pillar of Autumn had escaped a Halo Ring known as Installation 04 by the help of a mysterious alien of myth and legend called a Forerunner. The UNSC and their newest ally embark on a heavy defensive throughout Earth against the enemy, protecting humanities home planet at all cost. Lieutenant Serenity McKnight and her brothers and sisters in arms do their best to make the best of the war at the African front nearing New Mombasa. Doing so until an unknown mission would begin, deep in the jungle. The story is a 'reimagining' of Halo and is non-canon and is to be not taken seriously as this was an idea created back when I first played the games. Combat Evolved is the first book of my main series known as 'Halo Battle Buddies' and will lead up to the first game and beyond. As a marine for the UNSC you have to deal with ammounts of things. Covies, Spartans, ODSTs, and an uncharted planet infested with blood thirsty and intelligant species of aliens. The Covenant was enough to deal with, but now driven from their own ship, and two different U.N.S.C. space stations, both destroyed, the group must survive the merciless hands of the planet and find a way to escape. But will losing comrades and being held on their last string of sanity stop Nickolas Hayes and his team from surviving? I do not own the Halo based story line of this story. Somewhere in an Alternate Universe, The Covenant has launched a massive attack on planet earth, slaughtering everyone as they glassed the entire planet. During the war in Chicago, Team AR alongside Kruger and Griffin who were being lead by M4A1 were in a meat grinder as thousands of her friends including her other Companions we're brutally killed by the Covenant, Leaving M4A1 as the Soul Survivor. As the Covenant was about to eliminate her, she was rescued by super soldiers called the Spartans. The Spartans managed to rescue her from being killed by the Covenant. Eventually one Spartan saw something inside of her and offered her a spot in the UNSC to under go the Augmentations. Now as a Spartan, M4A1 is now ready to lead a new squad to battle Against the Covenant and others in her way.
