The year is 2095, and Humanity has used "Latent-based" technology to create a high-tech, cyberpunk society. The megacorporation, known as Cronus, and its supernatural android agents have spread across the globe, working to seal fractures in the fabric of space and eliminate potentially dangerous entities that escape the dimension created by powerful AI, known as "Latent Space". Every year, a new generation of Agents finishes their training and are recruited to one of the Earth's many "Waypoints", which act as permanent gateways between the real world and Latent Space. This story follows a young squad of Agents as they begin their lives at one of the world's most major Waypoints in the US's new capital, Los Angeles. However, they soon realize that the life of an Agent isn't what they were led to believe in training. Will they rise to the challenge, or succumb to the pressure of protecting Humanity?

In Monilia we use a thing called Horologiumn Mortis (- translation; the clock of death.) The Conditorum thinks these clocks save us, when in reality they do the opposite. These clocks count down the years, and hours, and minutes, and seconds until our death, but that's not all. They glow. We wear them on chains around our bodies, but they glow. It starts off as a dull, ever-present, low, goldish tint. As we move closer and closer to our soulmates they grow even brighter. Well what if I don't want to meet my soul mate? What if I don't want to die? What if I absolutely despise living under the order of the Conditorum? Well it's not that simple. Anyone that goes against the Conditorum is Occidi which is a delicate way of saying brutally murdered. Well, what if I am Regina Jackson, next in line for the throne and the Conditorum? What if my real soulmate is Michael Clifford, and I am dangerously, vitally, and unconditionally, in love with him? ********************* if you notice any large, capitalized words in here that seem weird, it's bc they are latin
