A lone survivor of a decimated tribe finds herself thrust into the heart of civilization. This is a canon divergence AU where Clover lives, Salem doesn't come to town, everyone stops acting stupid and realizes Ironwood's insanity and saves both Mantle and Atlas, and Neo doesn't get away with the relic of knowledge. With everything in Atlas back on track, Team RWBY, JN_R, Oscar, Penny, Qrow, and Clover make their way to Vacuo. Along the way they encounter many obstacles. You have seen RWBY and the teams of Beacon, but the action doesn't stay in Vale. Travel to the land of Vacuo, to Shade academy where we follow Coal, Hazel, Cassidy and Lapis. Enter team Charcoal.
