Hiccup was an outcast in Berk. After befriending a dragon, he realized these 'monsters' weren't what he thought they were. He learned things from his dragon, which caused him to excel in dragon training. Eventually he was chosen to have the honor to kill a monstrous nightmare. He knew he couldn't do it, he wouldn't do it which pushed him to run away. During his journey he meets a girl who had a light-fury. I dont own httyd.

Valka wasn't the only one taken from Berk. Her and Hiccup are separated in the chaos, Hiccup somehow circling his way through Drago's ownership, and then growing up on Berserker. But Hiccup's peace there is interrupted when Drago's forces start storming the archipelago, and he accidently finds his way to his home island and leans the truth about dragons.

Right after meeting Toothless, Hiccup realizes that he's able to shapeshift into a dragon.... and that Toothless is able to shift into a human. It leads them to question if there's far more to their connection than they've ever realized before, but can they really get answers when Vikings hate human-dragon shifters just as much as dragons? Or when Hiccup knows he can never let the rest of Berk know what he truly is?

Hiccup spent his life thinking Toothless, his best friend from Berk, was just born different. All other dragons are evil, right? And then his mother brings him in on a secret, one she's been hiding since Hiccup was a baby, and Hiccup has to question his place in the Viking's longest war.

Hiccup Horendous Haddock III loved Berk with all his heart. It was the place where he was born, and where his family lived for generations. He would do anything to keep them safe, to help them grow and improve, even if it meant he could no longer live on Berk itself. Even if it meant risking his own life. And even if it meant everyone there...thought he was dead.

Since birth Hiccup has been looked down and bullied for his small size and weak body. Even his father thought that he would not survive the first winter after he was born. However, one day during dragon training, Hiccup somehow became the best trainee between the teens and ended up obtaining the honor of killing the Monstrous Nightmare in front of the entire village. However, what the village never knew was that Hiccup secretly kept a dragon called Toothless and he learnt that not all dragons are mindless beasts that deserved to die and even learnt some tricks from it to become good in dragon training while also trying to stop the other teens from hurting the other dragons. However, one day he was walking home but suddenly, the jealous teens kidnapped him and threaten him to tell them how he was so good at dragon training, including his crush, Astrid Hofferson. Hiccup refused to tell them which resulted in the teens beat up him and left him to die. After Hiccup was taken to Gothi, he left Berk for good. After days of searching for a new home, he found a kingdom called Arendelle and the King and Queen of the kingdom took him in as one of their own. Hiccup and the eldest daughter of the King and Queen, Elsa ended up developing a crush with each other. Years later, Elsa was about to be crowned as Queen but Hiccup's past has came back to haunt him. Will he be able to overcome his past or will he crumble under the pressure.

HTTYD Hiccup runaway au x male reader. Hiccup couldn't do it. He couldn't kill a dragon, but could he really just leave? He had basically no experience surviving on his own... but he wasn't on his own. With Y/N by his side, he could do it. Together, they could finally leave this place and find a home for dragons, but when their paths cross with a black haired girl, a mysterious dragon rider, and a map neither of them were prepared for... The world just got a whole lot bigger. --- This takes place as an alternative timeline from my Legend of the East story, so at least read up to the chapter before Hiccup decides to leave before reading this.

Life was going peaceful, the chief was happy that he got to meet his best bud after years of being apart and was even more happy to share the moment with his children. But as they say, all good things must come to an end. The peace was short-lived as some ships have been spotted heading towards the Isle of New Berk. Hunter activities have also been spotted and the dragons are threatened. Will Chief Hiccup and the Dragon Riders raise once again to save all of Dragonkind from those who wish to bring them harm? Will Hiccup and Toothless, a chief and a king, former partners join forces once again? Will they succeed or will they succumb to the pressure? Will they able to protect their loved once? Only time will tell. Old faces will arise, both friends and foes alike. A year after the defeat of the Red Death and peace has brought to Berk, Skullette is still trying to figure out her way in a world where she didn't have to worry about the village's safety every other day. She has her friends, her family however little remains of it, but she still feels...lost. She wants to move on with the rest, but part of her, the part that grew bitter and resentful at life and everything around her, stays in the past, in all that she had tried to run from. But when she meets a dragon, she can't help but feel a bond form between them, a bond she can't quite figure out. Or maybe because that bond had been struck years before when she could still see, just an innocent soul with a desire to help. As she's forced to remember and see into her own past, her parents, and their story, she tries to avoid it and forget. But maybe the best way to move on from the past is to stop running, and simply face it.

it takes place after HTTYD 2. there are Hiccstrid moments. a new character and more surprises. "You don't meet people by accident." Filled with adventure and flying. Let's count mystery too. "Not everything is what it seems" Not the best description, but i hope you will give this story a shot. P.s the story and/or writing gets better. Atleast i think so........maybe...this story will need to be under magure editing, but that's that
