Odette has never known the outside world, having only seen it from her window. on her eighteenth her life changes as she is taken from her room for the first time and told she is attending a High Lords meeting, but it doesn't go exactly to plan.

April is the daughter of Tamlin and the heir of the Spring Court. She knows her father has a bad history with the Night Court, but the version of events her dad has told her is a twisted story, which strays far from the actual truth. It had been drilled into her since birth to never trust any fae from the Night Court. She has been having dreams of the same pair of blue eyes. Every night without fail, she has dreamed of these eyes. At the Great Rite, she meets the owner of these eyes, Nyx, the heir of the Night Court, son of her dad's greatest rivals, and the ones she had been told about. She had been taught to never trust any fae from the Night Court, but she is drawn to Nyx. She can't stay away from him, and he can't stay away from her. He teaches her the truth of what actually happened during the war, and she realises that her dad's stories have all been lies. She realises the family she had grown up with, isn't all that it seemed to be.

Azriel had spent centuries believing that he of all people didn't deserve a mate. And if anything, the last three years had just galvinised that particular belief. And then he meets her. When I was born it was always Thesan and Athena never mind the fact that I was born 7 minutes before him and the same was true through all of our life. When our father died it was no exception you would think that the first born child would be crowned, false, apparently it's only the first born male. Born on the outskirts of Velaris, she was discovered first not by her High Lord, but the King of Hybern. Used for her powers, she lives a century under Hybern's control. On a routine seizure of information and to wipe out Hybern assets, the Spymaster and General of the Night Court come across a woman, beaten and weak, supposed to be Hybern's weapon master. They take her back to Velaris to heal and meet with the High Lord, but as the soul tie snaps together, another bond does as well to the High Lords' brother, Prince Ascelin. Being thrown back into society, Aether must navigate healing her trauma, meeting her new found family, and grow into her role as the Mother gifted Guardian. The Illyrian high fay proves himself to be more than his strength and pretty face, as he leads his own inner circle to battle the problems facing the court just as his family does. It's during a particular event where an enemy shows their hand. If not for an unknown shadowsinger. It was only after the saving maneuvers did something extreme click into place. The connection between mates. The instant rush of emotion for the unknown shadowsinger was only interrupted by her disappearance in the shadow realm with the attacker. It becomes not only a challenge to figure out who his mate could be, but also how to defeat the rouge group presenting itself in efforts to tear apart the peace between courts. Keres has always known one thing, that her younger brother would be high lord someday. As the firstborn daughter of the high lord of summer, she as a female was a disappointment. However a few years after she was born, her brother came into the world, and the fates were sealed. Her brother would be the future High lord, and she would be his right hand. However under the firm hand of her mother and instructors, her powers only emerged further and far beyond anyone thought possible. Since then, Keres has been trained by various high fae to control the powers that feels like a tidal wave ready to crush her. The powers she learns to control turn into her greatest weapon against a rising foe. But after a mission goes astray and she comes face to face with someone who she never thought to be connected to, duty and emotions conflict.
