Completed! This is a Yuri!!! On Ice fanfiction following the four main characters (Victor, Yuuri, Yuri(o), and Otabek if you weren't sure) through life after season one. Fair warning, when I started this I had no plot-- one developed but it took a bit. The beginning is mainly fluff but once the story (for all intents and purposes) starts, it'll improve drastically. After a serious skating injury, Yuri Plisetsky has yet to return to the ice. The injury happened a little over a year ago, but still the blonde punk has not come back. Yuri is afraid of injuring him self once more so bad that he doesn't go anywhere near the Ice. After a year had passed Otabek has come to visit Russia. Well the Blonde Punk. He finds it weird that one, He has not seen Yuris name anywhere for the world champs, and two, that Yavok has asked him to talk sense to Yuri. But Otabek didn't even know doesn't even know about what happened. He may be pissed, but he wants to help yuri, that way they could skate once again together. Of course yuri is reluctant at first...But eventually he gives in. Yuri and Viktor parted ways after Grand Prix, their relationship coming to an end because of it. Yuri, filled with anger and hatred, has thrown away his life and fallen into despair. He hasn't given up on skating, though. In fact, he's doing the opposite. He wants to beat Viktor and he's hurting himself in the process. Viktor, on the other hand, wishes to turn back time. He wants to change everything. He never wanted to break Yuri's heart. That was never his intention. And, when he gains an email from Yuri, all he has to do is figure out how to do exactly that- turn back time. But, turning back time is impossible. And, with the rings lost, they have no hope. The art on the cover is not mine, it belongs to Roseoak or animatorroseoak on Instagram, I tried my best to keep the signature/watermark in the picture but it's hard to see, hence this warning. Anyway, now for the part you came here for: the plot (which was partially Roseoak's idea). So in this au, pretty much everything's the same but they're all idols and at the end of the season, instead of skating together, Viktor and Yuuri sing this song called Duetto together. So, in order to stay faithful to this general idea, this will focus on a survival show. What's a survival show you ask? Think of it like American Idol meets America's Next Top Model and the winners get put in a group together/debut as idols for a certain company. No one dies, don't worry. So with all that out of the way, here we go: After Yuuri sort of flops as a new solo artist, he's offered a chance at a new career through a survival show. He's hesitant at first, but he's convinced to take a chance. One night at the after party of an award show, after lots of drunk shenanigans, Yuuri asks Viktor to be his coach.
