After escaping the facility, Miss Heed decided villainy was her true path all along and joined the Black Hat Organization to warn villains that villainy and heroism are being threatened under everyones noses. Dr. Flug is tasked with being her boss and making sure her motives to join villainy and her warnings are genuine. The doctor is understandably angry at Heed but after time, he sees that the ex-heroine is being truthful. However, Flug hears Heed cry when no one is looking. Why does her tears upset him so much and what is the threat to villainy and heroism? And why do Flug and Heed feel drawn to each other as days pass?
