Hello, dear readers! ♡ This story will be based on the anime series Vinland Saga, so if you haven't watched it yet and don't want any spoilers, please don't start reading! This will be a sort of romance between the Reader/OC that I create and Canute. I decided that instead of making this a simple, typical romance story, I wanted the environment around them to have a big influence on their relationship. The twist in my story is that the Reader actually comes from the modern world and wakes up in the world of Vinland Saga. There will be fights, blood, death, and maybe a little smut if you guys want it (I'm honestly not very good at writing smut). The book will be a slow burn, but not too slow, because I know how annoying it can be to wait forever before there is finally some tension and interesting things happening (; The reason I'm writing this book is because I've wanted to read a book about Canute for such a long time, but I could never find one. And if I did find one, it had been Ongoing since 2021. Honestly, I don't even know who will see this or when I'll publish it, but I promise I'll finish this book. And if I release it chapter by chapter, I'll try to post at least once a week so I don't leave anyone hanging. Enjoy reading~♡

Hi! This is my second Canute book and I'm so excited to write it! I'm currently (as of 1/21/24) still working on my first book and it's my first priority when it comes to writing right now. (if you like Vinland saga and love triangles check it out.) So this is, as of right now, a place holder for my next work (and who knows I might randomly get the itch and start writing this.) I'm also going to be writing a Thorfinn book while writing this one! (sorry I'll stop trying to get you to read my other books now) so if updates are slow that's why but I'll try my best! Now for the story! This is going to take place in the in between time between the end of season 1 and season 2. So if you're not caught up on season 2s anime I recommend you do so I don't spoil anything (as well as season 1 will be heavily referenced.) Thorfinns only wish is to get revenge for his father. his mind has always been on one thing and that's taking down Askeladd. though life seems to want to change everything when secrets surface and hidden deeds come to light. Will Thorfinn break from the changes to a life he thought was all truth? or will he stay strong and have a change of heart and mind on what his really living for? ( this has my own twist to things so it's not going to stay 100% to the original story! we have magic in this and hopefully romance? lol will see! enjoy yall!! this will be a longs series so I hope you all enjoy so far! also I'm so bad at descriptions 😭 I swear there is more to the story then the little snip of description I made lol I don't wanna give much away!!)

If the Skyrim civil war was a real political situation plus I added a bunch of characters from other media and some of my own.

A Vinland Saga and Bleach crossover. Thorfinn and Askeladd along with the rest of his crew meet the substitute soul reaper, Ichigo. Is based in the Bleach world and there are plenty of fights throughout the story. There could be some shipping but I'm not sure yet. (Disclaimer: I do not own Bleach or Vinland Saga nor any of the characters, only the story line of this fanfic)

After Askelad's death, Thorfinn is killed while trying to kill King Canute. However, his fate takes a turn, will he let go of his endless quest for revenge or remain vengeful.

After a while, Bjorn had fallen asleep. The snoring let you know that fact. You had finally relaxed when out of no where his hand loomed over you, reaching for your waist. You flinched as it snaked around you, pulling you in. Your back was pressed to his front now as he gripped you firmly. He was incredibly warm. Were you supposed to let it happen? Should you wake him up? You froze, the warmth was too comfortable. It wasn't as if it was your choice anyways. You exhaled, releasing the built up tension and relaxing in his grasp. This had been a big fantasy your mind had been suppressing. Your dreams were quite literally becoming reality. You hadn't seen this coming- not in a lifetime. Did he feel how you did? Would this progress further? Or would he wake up, realize, and pull away. You prayed it would continue. That it was no mistake.
