This started as a blog about what Catholics believe and why. I am following the outline of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Part 1 begins with the Nicene Creed, which forms the base for almost every Christian tradition. Each part focuses on one line or phrase of the Nicene Creed. In Part 2 I will look at the Celebration of the Christian Mystery, which focuses on the liturgy and the seven sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders and Matrimony. Part 3 will focus on the Life in Christ, while Part 4 will look at prayer.

"Terrifying." "Brilliant." "Wow." "The Shaking is a unique story. Well defined characters with a good pace of the story." Seismic terror is about to strike... Maverick geologist Brian McLean was ridiculed when he warned London and south east England were at imminent risk of suffering a major earthquake. But when the unthinkable happens buildings collapse, power grids crash, transport is gridlocked, and high-tech life grinds to a shuddering halt. In the stunned aftermath courier Ryan Buckland journeys through a shattered city in a frantic search to be reunited with his family, Deputy Prime Minister Stuart Pullman sees the emergency as his chance to seize power, while nuclear engineer Alan Carter desperately tries to avert a far greater catastrophe. If he fails, destructive aftershocks will be the least of our problems... A homage to penny dreadful natural disaster trash fiction, The Shaking will rock you to your very core! A 103,000 word novel. Rated PG 16.

I used to be a loser. Seriously. I've lost a lot of battles against my emotions. The past few years, however, I've been fighting hard for my mental well-being, and I'm finally winning. It's been a rough ride, and it's not over yet! Come along on the journey through my past as I reminisce the events of my life that contributed to my disorder, and the steps I took to pick up the pieces after I broke. Memoirs of a Bipolar Winner is based on my past and personal experience. My hope is that it will be able to help other people who suffer from this illness, and remind them that they are NOT ALONE. Author's Note: Thank you to everyone who is reading this book and keeping up with the new chapters. I appreciate every one of you! Thank you for helping to encourage this work-in-progress author and her work-in-progress book. ;) This book is not being written in chapter-order. Trips down memory lane are seldom straightforward, especially mine. I'll try to arrange chapters as I can, but just be prepared to see something that might seem out of order.

"Why are we here, Melia?" Ryan yelled, eyes blazing in the California night lights. "Your friend's wife is dying, Ryan, don't you care about that?" "Yeah, I care about that, what I'm wondering is why you do." Melia threw up her hands. "Well, why shouldn't I? You put me in his path!" "I don't think you know what you want, but you need to stay away from Karen DeMarco's dying bedside. It isn't your place, Melia, HIS SIDE isn't your place!" "Stop shaking me!" She screamed defiantly and her arm rose to slap him. Ryan grabbed her hand and forced it behind her back. "You can't run after every guy that comes along, Melia, you can't play with guy's hearts like this. It's wrong. You have to be stopped." ****** But is Ryan the one to stop her from hurtling headlong into a future no one could have predicted? And will Melia let him?
