Visible Stories

Visible Six months after Invisible, nothing has been the same. That night still lingers-unspoken, unfinished. Now, a wedding brings them face to face again. I'm a bit new to this poetry writing thing <XD But, I've started a class in it so here I'll be sharing my works. Some will be for contest entries and anything else of the sort. While others will just be whatever comes to mind.

The unthinkable has happened; the endgame has come, and there's no easy way to win. Sacrifice the lives and freedom of your subjects for a chance to save a lost loved one, or forever lose the one to your responsibility. The outcome of this decision has effects in centuries after, as Jay Holden finds out when she discovers that she's an integral part to a story deemed to be legend. Some of these poems are snapshots of my life previously, glimpses of others, articles that resonated, or my recent life experiences and observations. As the inspiration takes me, I share them all with you. Thank you so much from the massive feedback and response I have received from these poems and particularly thanks to Seasofme who insisted I added them as she wanted to read them and if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have thought to put them on wattpad. Since I have, I have hit the rankings several times and not even advertised them, I owe her a great debt and it means a great deal that readers like them. It also got me back writing poetry again and the amazing feedback I have received regarding my Alzheimers poems has been heart warming. Thank you. I hope you enjoy them. War of the Worlds is a gripping account about the imminence of World War III and the winds of strife in preparation for the final apocalypse. Presenting the reader with more than a clandestine war, the narrative lies deeper than the visible realm; as it awakens to mysterious spiritual realities and the desperate struggle for power and world dominance.

He could only see the colors in people. She saw nothing but gray. He took life for granted. She captured life on camera. "One more smoke won't hurt." He would say. "One more smoke will bring you closer to the brink of death." She would reply. "Yeah? Well, maybe I want that." Was always how he ended it. It was odd how much they differed.

In an effort to help end the negative mental illness stigma and to raise awareness of the importance of mental health, I'm putting together stories from different people from different backgrounds that have suffered or know someone who has suffered from mental illness. This is also an attempt to show the way bullying can affect mental illness. I'm hoping this will encourage people to tell their story and know that they always have a person to talk to if they need it.

This is my first poetry book but please don't overlook. I've made writing in any form my kind of poetry norm! I really hope you enjoy and consider being my envoy. People often assume that to want is the same as to need. And that is where they are mistaken. There's a fine line between some things that point out there oppositions, their differences and their uniqueness from each other. The line between want and need is so visible, that it's actually quite invisible. To never judge a book by its cover was, I think , the perfect way to describe me. I am a visible disguise, one people can see, but not really see.
