FIRST CAME THE DRAGONS When scientists brought everyone's favorite fairytale creature to life, people flocked to see them, including 17-year-old Zelda Rissland. THEN CAME THE PARASITE But scientists created more than just dragons-they created a deadly parasite. Wyrmrot, they later called it. First, it ate your brain, and then it made you eat other people's brains. NOW ZELDA MUST SURVIVE THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE Separated from her family, the only person Zelda has left from her former life is her childhood friend turned boyfriend, Cooper Marotta. Together they've carved out a safe place for themselves in a world turned upside down, but when a zombie horde decimates their survivor group, they face a choice: attempt to rebuild or follow the mysterious coordinates that appeared on a construction sign. Zelda still hopes her family is out there somewhere and believes the coordinates might lead her to them. Cooper, however, thinks the coordinates will only bring trouble. When the remaining survivors vote to undertake the perilous cross-country journey, he attempts to deter them every step of the way. What Zelda discovers at their destination will test her loyalties and change everything she thought she knew about the apocalypse. Wyrmrot is a heart-stopping Young Adult Apocalyptic novel told in dual timelines. "Jurassic Park meets Resident Evil." This fast-paced tale of survival, secrets, and betrayal features dragons, zombies, and a touch of romance. Perfect for fans of Erin Bowman's Contagion or Emily Suvada's This Mortal Coil. Seventeen-year-old Drake Cadmus Ordo expected Comic-Con, cheap plastic armor, and maybe a blurry photo with a celebrity. He did not expect the unmarked door he stepped through to rip him out of Earth and drop him inside an Imperial Academy in 4 BBY, six months before his assignment to Darth Vader's flagship, the Executor. Forced to survive as a stormtrooper cadet, Drake blends in as best he can until a mysterious System appears, gifting him with a 25,000 midichlorian count, knight-level combat instincts, and memories the Empire should never discover. Then it vanishes, leaving him alone with impossible power in the worst place in the galaxy to have it. To make matters worse, Drake uncovers a truth buried in Mandalorian history: he is the grandson of Pre Vizsla, born of two ancient clans that once held Jedi relics. And the Force inside him is waking. But Vader senses something wrong aboard his ship. The Force ripples where it shouldn't. A presence hides where none should exist. As Drake tries to hide his abilities, clones begin to suspect the truth. Vader draws closer. And when a mission turns into a massacre, when Jedi Masters reveal themselves, and the battlefield burns, Drake is forced to stop pretending. Back-to-back with Darth Vader, Drake reveals the power he never meant to use. Now Vader knows. And the galaxy will never be the same.

For centuries, humanity battled its own demons-war, destruction, the ever-present shadow of extinction. But against all odds, it endured. Nations united, wounds healed, and a single banner rose above the entire Earth: United Earth Government and later the United Federation of Planets. By the year 2288, humanity had transformed from a fractured species into a galactic civilization. The Federation stretched across the stars, its influence reaching every corner of the Milky Way. It was an era of peace, progress, and unmatched technological triumph. And yet... they were alone. No matter how far their ships traveled or how many worlds they surveyed, there was no sign of other intelligent life. The universe vast, ancient, and beautiful remained eerily silent. Theories once whispered in academic circles, the "Great Filter," the "Rare Earth" now loomed large and terrifying. Was intelligence a cosmic accident? Was humanity the only one to make it this far? Then, everything changed. On the eve of humanity's historic voyage to Andromeda (M31). As their science vessel prepared for its journey across 2.6 million light years, something unprecedented occurred. In a flash, space itself seemed to twist and fold, as the Milky Way merged with another galaxy in instant, one far larger and older than their own. Now, in this strange, limitless frontier, humanity's greatest adventure was only just beginning. Would they adapt and survive, or uncover something beyond their wildest understanding? Only time would reveal the truth... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Heavily influenced by Nihonkoku Shoukan by Minorou, Anime GATE and various nation summoned novels here in wattpad. 𝐒𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝟏𝟗𝟐𝟎𝐬 was ruled by the Shelby family - or more so their gang. The Peaky Blinders were the infamous gang who earned their respect through the fear of the people. With the blades sewn into their flat caps and the weapons tucked into their jackets, people bowed their heads when passing them in the streets. You were considered lucky to have not had a run in with any of the three elder Shelby brothers. Arthur was the eldest. He was known for his fighting. You would often find him in the ring against somebody who was not his size. He went mad during the war and his return was nothing hit a relief for his mind. But when thinking he had finally escaped the war, one had started in his head. Arthur Shelby was his own enemy. Thomas was the second eldest - the most feared. He had a head for business and more common sense than his older brother. He had icy eyes which very rarely softened at the sight of anything. He was known for his trait of being unmerciful and careless. Despite being the second eldest, he was the brother who held the power. The brother who controlled the rest of them. John was the youngest of the three and arguably the softest. With his wonky smile and cheeky remarks, many of the girls in Small Heath found themselves falling at his feet. He would often find himself in trouble for acting childish. He didn't care too much for the business of the gang. He cared for the respect it brought their name. He enjoyed the thrill. And then you had John's twin sister - Francesca. Known for being one of the only Shelby siblings who seemed to laugh at Thomas. Her sister, Ada, being exactly the same. Francesca found that her brothers were ridiculous - too big for their boots as she'd say. Though she liked to use their name to get herself out of trouble. Francesca was often reckless and lacked the awareness one needed for the streets they lived in. She was her mother's daug

A science-fantasy crossover, that asks "What If the World of Arknights met the 21st Century United States." Beneath the classified depths of Area 51, a decades-long black project known as Project ARKSEK has achieved what was once thought impossible: the creation of a stable, functional gateway to another world. In the wake of this discovery, the United States mobilizes its most advanced and sophisticated military units and scientific minds to establish the first Human presence beyond the Gate. However, this new world known as "Terra" by its inhabitants is no empty frontier. It is a world shaped by its own complex History, Societies, Nations, Geopolitics, and scarred by Catastrophes. Home to diverse nations built upon the foundation of Originium, an enigmatic energy rich mineral that fuels entire civilizations, but also spreads a deadly disease that has no cure, known as Oripathy. What begins as an exploration mission slowly becomes something far more what the US could have ever bargained for in another world. Fraught with discoveries and dangers unlike anything humanity has ever encountered before. As American forces attempt to understand and navigate this alien yet familiar landscape, they will be forced to confront questions of Morality, Control, Diplomacy and weighing the cost of Intervention. What they will find on the other side may change the future of both worlds. For better or for worse. Every discovery always has a cost. And some doors, once opened, cannot be closed.
