How do you solve a mystery? ~~~ When CloudClan woke up one morning, their medicine cat was gone. There wasn't a single trace of her anywhere - no footprints, scent, or even a dead body announcing an unfortunate meeting with a fox or badger. It was as though she'd simply.... vanished. Cats fight cats, battles spin while prophecies are given to healists. He flashed a brief glance at Soot, who only stared blankly at the dark forest. They were in danger. Didn't Soot know that? Then, a small shape came hurling towards them, clearly aware that they were not expecting its move. Ash felt rough paws press down on his throat, knocking the breath out of him as he was pinned to the ground. Dust flew up, forcing a sneeze out of the young cat above him. Pain blinked in his head as his vision was slowly regained, eyes turning into slits as he stared up at the small cat pinning him down. Ash could taste his own fear-scent from the back of his throat. The cat forcing him on a the ground had pale fur and darker stripes lining his face, eyes flashing suspicion as he looked down at Ash, his claws extending as he pressed it lower into Ash's neck, just below his collar. Ash could see the strength his attacker posed, despite its small size. Fear crawled up his face, and Ash took a risky glance at Soot. His littermate's eyes twitched as he saw Ash on the ground, ears pinned to his sides and tail recoiling. Ash turned his head back to the young cat above him. 'Hey there, kittypet. What are you doing in Chirp territory?' the wild cat demanded, huffing, air billowing into his face. Ash swallowed nervously, throat dry.
