Azevion Mercier has had a long life, even though he was only twenty-six. He's had a lot of setbacks in his life before he even had the chance to start it. Now, he finally had a hold on things. He'd finally figured out how to work with what he had, and he wasn't looking to change it for the world. The last thing he could've ever expected or wanted was for his new assistant to slither into his life the way that she did. Both are accustomed to a static life. Neither were looking for love, yet their hearts would soon find it either way. The real question lies within whether they have the capacity to keep each other in their lives, or let all the brand new pressure build until they break. And in the middle of it all: a boy who needs nothing more than a stable life.
