Mathias Cole thought he was a normal college kid. He studied, attended class, and went to parties. On one fateful night, after a wild, frat party at a nearby cabin, Mathias dies. Well he was supposed to anyway. However, he is alive and well with only a few bruises and some mild amnesia. Everyone says he should have died, so why didn't he? Alexa Winters knew she wasn't normal. She hasn't been "normal" for almost 200 years. She was a Reaper and her latest case file was Mathias Cole. She too is surprised when the accident that was supposed to claim his 22 year old life doesn't. What's a Reaper to do when a person just won't die? Or better yet, why can't he just die?
