What happens when the world goes quiet, but your mind doesn't? 𝐍𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐄 isn't a story. It's a series of moments, the kind you don't talk about in daylight. The kind that sit with you when the room is dark, when the clock is too loud, when sleep refuses to be kind. These poems don't ask to be understood. They ask to be felt. From fragile beauty hidden in unexpected places, to silent battles no one sees, to thoughts that linger somewhere between breaking and becoming, this collection moves like the night itself-soft, restless, and a little unforgiving. Some poems will feel like comfort. Some will feel like confrontation. And some will feel like they were written from a place you've been trying to avoid. Read it slowly. Or don't. The night doesn't rush. And neither do the truths waiting inside it. A nocturne is a literary piece or poem dedicated to or set at night. These works often carry an introspective, melancholic, or reflective tone.

Ink Over Silence is a collection of everything I couldn't say out loud. The thoughts I swallowed. The emotions I hid. The version of me no one noticed breaking. Between pressure and identity, silence and emotion, breaking and becoming-these pages hold what words couldn't carry in speech. Because sometimes, silence is louder than words- and ink becomes the only way to survive it. And somewhere in the quiet, when everything feels too heavy to hold alone, there is grace.

When you're drowning in an ocean, what do you do ? You flap your arms around, kick your legs and resurface while your breath shortens. Let's say by some miracle there's a log right there and you cling to it. Well, that log for me was the consistent ink on my paper getting botched by tears. So let's go under darkness shan't we? A collection of thoughts that rhyme from a wandering mind. "Sometimes the quietest night holds the loudest heartbreak." 'Am I Going Crazy?' is a poetic journey through love, late-night nostalgia, and the art of healing. These are words for the broken, the lovers, and the dreamers. Maybe you'll see a part of yourself in them, too.

My poetry collection Pt. 2 is a continuation of my thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Each poem explores themes like love, loneliness, healing, faith, identity, and the quiet moments that shape who we are. Some poems were written during difficult times, others during moments of hope and growth. Together, they tell more pieces of my story and the way I see the world. All poems in this collection are @AleighaMarieXOXO original works. No copying or plagiarism is acceptable. This collection is still growing, and I continue to add new poems as inspiration strikes. If even one poem helps someone feel understood or less alone, then sharing my words is more than worth it.

My second Edition of a variety of Poetry feelings. For all the support and encouragements you all share with me - I do humbly appreciate all that you say and do. The feeling I get when another writer comments, or votes is imperial to how I interrupt that my work has some actual capabilities of reaching out and affecting someone's day or even their own life. So, please, if you like the poetry that I've consciously poured my heart, soul and thoughts out, please, leave a comment, or vote for how much this piece or any other of my poetry has helped. If it has given you hope, acknowledgement, or just an awareness that someone, like me, knows exactly what you can go through first hand, let me see how much it affects you. Even the 'poet' needs some love shown. :) Copyright © 2016-2026 By T. A. Hinson All Rights Reserved All rights reserved. Where silence speaks, fear lingers, and emotions find their way into words. A space woven with hidden thoughts, quiet battles, loneliness, change, and the pieces people rarely show the world. Some fragments ache. Some question. Some heal. Not every feeling can be explained - but sometimes, it can be written. - Lady Luck 2010

I wrote a poem which is heavily inspired by Pablo Neruda's "Tonight I Can Write the Saddest Lines." I've always loved the repetition in that poem, the way every return to the line feels heavier than before. I wanted to try something similar with what I think are the seven most universal pains: unreturned love, loss, insecurity, failed dreams, loneliness, regret, and the fear that everything beautiful eventually fades. I'm honestly terrible at rhyming, so I'm weirdly excited that this actually came together the way it did. Also, I've realized something while writing this: I think I can write grief far more honestly than I can write happiness. Pain comes out of me in complete sentences. I hope you like it ❤
