Addison Chamberlin has lived through the unexplainable events of Beacon Hills her whole life. While sneaking around with a camera in the middle of the night is when the mysterious things started happening to her. First she meets the newest member of the Beacon community, Liam Dunbar, who had moved across the street from her. She befriends him and cannot explain the feelings she gets around him, sometimes admire, and sometimes hatred. After that came the text from an unknown number telling her to stay away from the unknown. The final thing is now wherever she goes these different pair of glowing eyes seem to follow her. As time drags on she starts to break down a little and struggle to keep her cool around everyone. It seems nearly impossible to balance her everyday life with her investigation. She also starts to notice she isn't the only one acting strange though. Liam, Scott, Stiles, Garrett, and Violet begin to act like they're up to something. After looking into the past a bit she discovers some information she's been desperately searching for and not to long after she discovers something beyond what she ever thought was possible.

Everyone is branded with a tattoo across their wrist at birth, but it is only visible to you and your defender once you turn eighteen. It determines your fate, what Branch you must move to, your new family, and your soul mate. Defenders are the highest level of citizens besides the president, and are chosen because they lack emotion, don't grow attached, and are incredibly strong.

Claire is battling depression as well as the stressful high-school life full of bullies, boys and drama. One day at school she meets a friend who wants to help her realise her true potential. This was a poem I wrote dedicated to a friend of mine. I hope you enjoy.

As the dead rise and eat the living, Mitchell and his friends struggle to survive, Against the dead, and people. There's always the pain of loosing loved ones, the enormous herds of zombies, the growing starvation, and the number of camps slowly dwindling. Mitchell soon realizes that life is always a test and so is the virus that killed the world, but there's only one question. Who are the ones strong enough to survive? (WARNING: First couple chapters are bad because I did not know how to write but I'm getting them edited!)
