The eruption of Tonga's underwater volcano, in January 2022, vaporized 150 million tons of seawater and shot a geyser of super heated steam through the stratosphere. The water vapour, a strong greenhouse gas, may increase global temperatures for at least five years. However, between 56 and 34 million years ago the average temperature near the poles was 25°C warmer than it is today. The Little Ice Age devastated harvests in Europe from 1300 to 1850 CE, causing starvation and sickness. Wood was expensive so, in London, England, people began burning coal despite the smoke and dirt. But . . . almost everyone on the planet is five times wealthier than their ancestors. In the past 70 years, the average life span increased from about 40 years to more than 80 and the average world income grew from less than $3 to more than $33 per person per day. This explosive growth in productivity (largely as a result of fossil fuels) was responsible for astonishing improvements in health, education, and longevity. Eliminating fossil fuels will cause massive declines in productivity but the average person is still expected to be four times richer by 2100 CE despite disruptions. When a tornado struck Mara's home town, she lost more than just her home, she lost her parents as well. Now 18, she is now figuring out that the world that she lives in is more complicated than she thought; not to mention that she has the power to control the weather! Bonded by destiny, but torn by her past, she must find out how to stop the up coming war from killing hundreds of thousands of people. But who to trust is the game, and it has proven to be much difficult for Mara to handle.

Complete ✔️ A commander returned home to his family after his last war which was a victory. before the war, he promised his pregnant wife and four children that he would retire from being a commander to live his final days with them. But when he returned home from the war, he found his house destroyed and his wife who was pregnant and his four kids dead on the ground, but nothing happened to the other members of the village. this pissed him off and he went crazy and proceeded to kill everyone in the village. after he did that, he wasn't still satisfied, he took his sword and set out to destroy every shrine of the gods and those worshipping them. he blamed them for not protecting his family. Then, the goddess of dark magic and mischief found him and offer him immense power that with it he could be able to not only kill the mortals but even the gods that failed to keep his family safe.
