This is the third entry of my AU multiverse series. This book is not connected to the two books I made. The twenty-fourth entry of the 2022-2023 Film Journal is the long-waited new Makoto Shinkai film, "Suzume". Here, jumping off from my thoughts detailed in "Weathering with You" two film journals ago, I take a look at how Shinkai's latest work evokes my current opinion of him as a filmmaker.
