But all of them are either waking up in gusu studying time or just before they depart to gusu. If it was child Wei Wuxian, it was a TGCF crossover or Immortal baoshan finding him. I don't dislikes them. It's just i want a one where, Wei Wuxian doing all of it in his way. Something he never get a chance of. I don't know if you have read one similar. But I'm sure this and that will never be the same. .... I do not own any of these characters, they belong to MXTX. The characters are from MDZS. I do not own any of images if used. And this story was my pure imagination.

In his first life, Wèi WúXiàn died thinking no one cared or loved him. Sacrificing everything for his loved ones and for his principles, only to be betrayed and driven to kill himself by those he once protected and sacrificed everything for. (Like in the original) Not wanting to let history repeat itself, he decided to cut ties with the cultivation world the moment he returned into his 15-year-old body again after dying at the end of the siege. When he was thrown into the burial mounds, he pretended to have died, leaving the cultivation world completely behind. In doing so, he hoped that none of his loved ones would die again, thinking he was responsible for their deaths. But boy, was he wrong. But what will happen now that Wèi WúXiàn gets a third chance? Will he still care about the sects who blamed him for everything in both lives? Would he protect them like he did before? Can he even protect his loved ones? Especially with all the pain, trauma, grievance, and guilt he carries with him. Will he be betrayed again in this life, or will he finally find his place? Read to figure it out. ; ) P.s.: This is my first fan fiction, so I would love some criticism to help me improve my writing skills. ^^ None of the characters and pictures belong to me, and some parts might be familiar as I was inspired by other authors. Credits to owners. Also, the personalities of the characters might not match to 100% or at all. However, this is my AU, so it's only natural they are not like their canon counterparts as they can or have influenced each other. ^^ As for the timeline, it is oriented after the original. However, some events may happen sooner than they should. At the end of each chapter, there is a general information section about mechanics of the story. Lan Zhan POV When I was young, after my mother has passed away. My Fuqin have someone who has been keeping an eye on me from the shadow. I don't know who he is or what he look like. He only stay in the shadow. But I can feel like he is nearby, that is all I can feel from him. That is until one day, I was starting to maneuver on my sword at a young age. Bichen shot up into the sky, I couldn't keep my balance and then I begin to fall off of Bichen from the sky. My brother is not around. My Fuqin isn't around, my uncle isn't around either. I keep on falling and falling and falling and falling until I felt two pair of strong arm catching me in their arm. I opening my eye to see red flowing ribbon, and silver eye behind the mask looking down at with a gentle smile on his face. "Lan er gongzi, you can't do this by yourself. You need someone close by to watch you fly." His voice was soft, warm and kind, he look about 15 year old. I am only 9, he already know how to maneuver on his sword at this age. We soon landed on the ground, he put me gently down before stepping away from me. "Who are you?" I asked. "I'm sorry gongzi, I can't let you know who I am. All you need to know is, i was sent here by your father to protect you while your family are not around. I will be in the shadow protecting you from there." Before he can leave, I grabbed his sleeves, "gongzi, do you need something else?" He asked. "Will I get to see you again?" I see him kneeling down to my level. He take out a small like piccolo and handed it to me. "Hold on to this. If you play this song," he pick up a leaf nearby, he begin to play a short song, then he stop, "play this song and I will come find you." After he said that, he vanished before me.
