A world of monsters and harpies and werewolves...and the same annoying ass power hungry people?! UGH. Even worse. Princesses. No good, preppy, princesses. Alex is thinking about gagging already writing this in third person. Gagging and hating princesses, that is, until she discovers a very important someone. Someone who's been underestimated her entire life in this flashy, crystalline world. Someone that might be the key to getting Alex out of this royal armpit of sparkles and princesses. It's been three months since Chris went back up to the mountains , rescuing Josh , who was in the process of becoming a wendigo.

Three months ago, the first person disappeared. The police believed it was an accident. Then another person vanished. And another. And another. Soon, the small town of Raven Hollow was gripped by fear. Nobody knew who-or what-was responsible. The victims seemed completely random. A hiker. A hunter. A college student. A delivery driver. Each person disappeared without a trace. The forests surrounding the town became places people avoided. Parents warned their children to stay away from the trees after sunset. Search parties combed the woods for clues but found almost nothing. Rumors spread faster than facts. Some believed a serial killer was hiding in the forest. Others claimed strange sounds echoed through the trees at night. A few people swore they had seen a tall creature with twisted antlers watching from the darkness. The police dismissed those stories as fear and imagination. Three days ago, seventeen-year-old Luke Dusk Porticl disappeared. For most people, he was just the latest victim. For Iris Rain Porticl, he was her brother. And she was determined to find him.
