Twenty years have passed since Jem's death, and Tessa can feel her heart slowing, feel it falling into stone like so many other warlocks' have before her. She cannot stand to look at blue, and cannot stand to look at silver, and the two of them together is enough to shatter her heart. But one fateful day, Tessa is pickpocketed---by a small boy with eyes as blue as a night sky in Hell.

What if will found out about his curse before tessas arrival? What if jems parents never died? What if Sophie was a shadowhunter? What if....

Tessa and Will have been together for a year and are married, Jem was a Silent Brother and Tessa is going to have a baby. What is an issue is that, Tessa being half warlock and half nephilim, they don't know what will happen to the child when it comes. On top of this the downworlders are being treated like scrap and the nephilum are considering that Tessa should not be trusted. Will is on edge because of this. Will Tessa be thrown out of the London Institute because of her blood or will Will step in with Consul Charlotte Branwell and stand up for Tessa's right to live in the Institute with them?

Tessa Gray is now married to Will Herlondale, and starting her new life with him. When Jem to go serve with the brother hood he promised Tessa he would meet with her one a year for an hour. This story goes through the visits and moments they have shared across each visit.

Wessa: a Princess and the Pauper retelling So this is a Shadowhunter story and I do not own the characters and sorry they might be a bit OCC because in this story Will isn't going to be "cursed" and Tessa, Magnus and every warlock aren't immortal. They just possess magic. I might add in some quotes from the series so I don't own those either. -------------- A mini summary When Princess Sophie Collins has a royal duty to go to a neighboring Kingdom and work out a truce with the other young royals she knows she must do it. But when she gets into a fight with her secret boyfriend she must go after him instead. But how can she be in two places at once? Her solution is for Tessa Gray, a special young warlock and her handmaiden, to go fulfill her royal duty by impersonating her. Tessa indeed goes but when she meets Prince William Herondale, keeping her secret gets much harder. Despite trying to keep away, they find themselves pushed together. However, Tessa is in danger every minute she continues impersonating Princess Sophie. Will doesn't even know her real name.
