Just a story that I'm writing as it comes

Everything is coated in shadow in the room. Rubbing my eyes trying to get them to see through the lack of light I find my phone. The battery is running out but it gives me enough time to find the pull chord for the light. I blink rapidly adjusting to the new brightness filling the space. There are crates stacked in the corner and an old turn dial phone with a plug running under a door covered in locks. The only window is a slit in the door that seems to have been painted black or covered by something on the other side. I look to the bottom of the door and see a trail of blood. Following it with my eyes I see the trail ends at me. Looking down for the first time the shock wears off when i see the gashes across my stomach. I am bleeding out.

Someone wakes up somewhere dark. As you can probably tell from my username, I have no idea what I'm doing so I would like it if you could criticize it as much as possible so I can know all the stupid things I've done.
