My original story about my OC Malakai is a vampire, he has been told his whole life who is good and who is bad. After a chain of events with the so called good guys that leave a bitter taste in Malakais mouth he's not so sure. Any feedback is welcome! Please tell me what you think!!

So I've recently gotten into poetry and since most of y'all don't know who I am or who they're about I decided to upload them here. All poems are 100% mine and may not be used for anything else. Btw I know they all suck. I'm very new at this and don't know any of the rules to poetry. But I might decide to take a class on it. And lastly I will upload daily because I usually write at least two poems everyday.

How to be gay in today's world? Some of you may say it's easy and that is totally normal. I mean, the world is bad, sure, but there is also much good in it, too. But I know others will say being gay is not that easy. So, looking back to my life, I realized that my life wasn't always easy, as well it wasn't always hard. I have had my good moments and bad moments. Either regarding society or love, or family - sometimes it was good , but sometimes it was awful. And hey, I survived.... But how many young people didn't? So, for what is worth - I decided that I want to share my experience with you. And if it helps at least one person out there - then mission accomplished. This book and the chapters in it are not about being gay or straight. It's about one person trying to find themselves, love, friendships and trying to survive while doing it...

Do you ever feel like it's all too much? Do you ever question why you feel like this? I sure do. All my life I've been different. I am hated for that. I guess this is just poems about that.

The thoughts I have every second of every day are like branches in my mind. Always growing and always twisting. Finding ways to spread further into the back of my mind. Some of them fall and wither like leaves in the fall. Some of them make me ponder too many thoughts, making me lean in certain directions like that tree in the park. Am I going to fall? Am I going to be cut down without mercy? Or will I grow infinantly into the sky?
