When Tessa Gray finds out about this ingenious invention started so many years ago by someone she'd grown to love, her biggest wish is to use it, to travel back in time and find out why she had Magnus Bane place a memory block over her mind like a veil. The only problem is, if she transfers back to the time when she was young, she'd only confuse herself and the people she loved. A group of Shadowhunters, a free-wheeling bisexual and a couple of kids decide to take a break from everything and travel to London. Just for fun, y'know? But what happens if a demon interrupts them? They'll encounter people from the past and try not to get busted while trying to go to their time! Emily Herondale was found by Brother Zachariah and warlock Theresa Gray by her mother's dead body. Her twin, Jonathan, had already been taken away. Then at 10 years old she was given a mission to watch over Clarissa Fairchild in the mundane world. It goes perfectly for seven years before Clary discovers her true Shadowhunter heritage.
