When James, Cordelia and Lucie find themselves in Los Angeles, The local shadowhunters are curious at the disturbance, upon further inspection of the situation they call their buddie in New York, when Magnus flips out and the New Yorkers are still puzzled, they call Tessa and Jem, who are following their own lead on two young male shadowhunters that were spotted in london- one dark haired the other with silver hair.

Jem had always known that he was dying, but this time, he doesn't exactly stay dead.

Wessa: a Princess and the Pauper retelling So this is a Shadowhunter story and I do not own the characters and sorry they might be a bit OCC because in this story Will isn't going to be "cursed" and Tessa, Magnus and every warlock aren't immortal. They just possess magic. I might add in some quotes from the series so I don't own those either. -------------- A mini summary When Princess Sophie Collins has a royal duty to go to a neighboring Kingdom and work out a truce with the other young royals she knows she must do it. But when she gets into a fight with her secret boyfriend she must go after him instead. But how can she be in two places at once? Her solution is for Tessa Gray, a special young warlock and her handmaiden, to go fulfill her royal duty by impersonating her. Tessa indeed goes but when she meets Prince William Herondale, keeping her secret gets much harder. Despite trying to keep away, they find themselves pushed together. However, Tessa is in danger every minute she continues impersonating Princess Sophie. Will doesn't even know her real name. Epeolatry- The act of worshipping words, particularly from books or novels. William Owen Herondale thought he was the only person who lived and breathed words, the only person to be fully emerged in epeolatry. He was in his own world, consumed by the pages upon pages of the books that he believed changed his soul with every word, if not every letter. Nobody could understand the world that Will seemed to create and love. Even the closest person to him, the only person Will had ever opened up to or expressed emotions other than disgust to, Jem could not understand this seemingly foreign land; he could only accept it as a part of Will. Because of this Will had no hope of ever meeting anyone with a soul similar to his and in a way he thought that this was for the better, he had isolated himself from everyone apart from his weakening friend with the desire to keep them safe. When he had first saw her, he knew that she was different to the others; from the crazed yet determined look that whirled in the storm of her vibrant grey eyes to jug she held in her hand, brandishing it as a weapon. However, what Will failed to notice in those first few moments was that the girl with the grey eyes managed to have a soul that was marked with the art of epeolatry to the extent his was.
