Dawnpaw is a young, ShadowClan apprentice with the ambition to become the leader one day. After getting her warrior name and becoming the deputy and then finally the leader, she makes a fateful decision when SkyClan leader asks for help during a leaf-bare. How it will affect her? If at all?

Shadowheart has solved an issue. Tigerstar is dead. The Clans can now move on. ThunderClan accepted him back, but he decided it was best to be on his own. Willowbreeze is on her last limb when she has her kits, and struggles to find peace in the world. She thinks her surviving kit is a burden and wishes she never had her. Waterlily is finally at peace and regains her energy and life once more.

Bramblepaw is not the most popular in her Clan. As a kit, her apprenticeship was set to be late due to her bad behavior. Now, she tries her hardest to be seen under a new light, a good light. In this book, Tigerlily and Laughterheart recollect all of the myths and legends they've ever heard.
