Influenced by Hip hop and Watching Show Me The Money, Chanwook began crafting his own rap style. By Highschool he built his reputation as a battle rapper. Set on becoming an idol he chooses YG Entertainment in the hopes of becoming a famous rapper. Almost immediately he is put in a survival against dozens of other boys in the hopes of debuting a new generation boy group. Despite the ferocity he eventually prevails earning him the spot, but their debut wasn't without problems. In the midst of their long wait he makes a name in Highschool Rapper firmly displaying his rapping.
