Ivy was always very imaginative growing up. She convinced her cousin, Sabina, that fairies were real and in their backyards. What seemed like a childish tale is actually real life. However, one of the seasonal fairies might be in grave danger.

He was too tired, his wings too sore to carry him farther. So he stopped flying. And he fell. * * * Enid didn't expect to find a dragon on her morning walk, if only because the peoples of Ivisk had not seen one in centuries, if they even ever existed at all. But she found one, and she's determined to have an adventure and help the Winter Dragon return home.

Ammie Lake is a seemingly normal girl. Although she is way too preppy about everything, nothing seems very out of the ordinary. Only she isn't normal. Santa calling

This is for the winter contest for a new character that expresses winter. My character is Whittaker. This embodiment of winter is neither a girl nor a boy but an energy that is what we use for the hash and bitterness cold that makes us cold and fearful. This energy is not calming and is very harsh on the human body, but is kind. It doesn't want to hurt our kind but to be loved by us as we lover stories and songs of Jack Frost, The Snow Queen, and Father Winter. During her time in the town she meets a girl who changes her world. Enjoy!

It's hard to describe what- or who- exactly Winter is. It's peace, it's war. It's the cold of the outside, but it's also the warmth of the hearth. It's the ice beneath your feet, but it's also the fire you carry in your pocket. It's a person more than it's a place- it comes and goes, takes and gives. Winter bursts in like a storm- and then it leaves, just as quickly as it comes.

•SLOW UPLOADS• Ferryn Kinsley is what you would call a spirited girl. She is confident, wild and wants nothing more than to have some fun. Winter has finally come and the first snow fall of the season is the first of Ferryn's life. With it comes excitement but also a warning from her grandmother. In Borealgrove there is a legend. It tells of the beasts who bring ice and snow to the lands as well as many dangers. "Hello?" My voice called out, hollow and echoless. I whipped my head around in terror, but there was nothing but snow, snow up to my chest, snow falling from the nothingness above, snow that gleamed white in the dark. I began to panic. My breathing sped up and my heart began to pound. I could hear it in my ears, the thudding that sounded like bullets in the silence. I tried to run in the powdery softness, but I fell. I fell so deeply into the snow that I forgot which way was up or down. Did it matter? I was going to die anyways. Here. Alone. This is a short(ish) story I wrote for the #wintercontest2016.
