Eddard Stark returned to the North alongside Arthur Pembroke, both ruling half of the North as Lords of Winterfell and Backton Hold, Eddard married Catelyn Tully and had six legitimate children and one bastard son; as for Arthur, he married Amalie Tyrell and had twins, a boy and a girl, losing his wife at birth. As for Jon Arryn, he married Lysa Tully and had one single son, he then left the Eyrie and headed to King's Landing, to become Hand of the King.
