About 200 Thousand + people migrate to Delhi every year . In hope of finding the spirit to their soul , also known as money . Then they get lost in Delhi's maximumalism (yes its a word , I am the next Shashi Tharoor ). Maximumalism refers to how everything in Delhi is extreme - be it seasons , food or people . But then comes the winters of Delhi when the wind(also known as smog ) blows through their hair reviving their long lost reason of coming here . Then they again get lost in Delhi's autumn , so it's a never ending vicious cycle . I feel Delhi is not for beginners because apparently , technically and historically nobody has been permanent here until you are Carbon Dioxide . This seems like the opening dialogue of a parody of a cliched-underdog-bollywood film . But just like Tanmay Bhat has put up beautifully - " Life is all about realizing that all the cliches along the way were actually true". So maybe it is . After all, all we're gonna be doing next year is no different from being the slaves of the algorithm and dancing to its tune . Maybe try finding purpose in life other than watching cricket and crying . Maybe try loving Delhi for what it is and ignore the smog as the government does . Maybe just devour Chole Bhature and wish each other Happy New Year..
