Farewell, My Friend is an emotional coming-of-age story about dreams, friendship, sacrifice, and the painful journey of growing up. Xian, a quiet province boy from San Isidro, spends most of his childhood being bullied and overlooked-until he meets Rye, a cheerful yet mysterious boy who changes his life forever. More than just a friend, Rye becomes Xian's protector, mentor, and guiding light, teaching him lessons about courage, faith, and resilience through wisdom from the Bible and the words of great philosophers. As years pass, Xian begins to dream of something greater beyond their small town. But chasing those dreams means leaving behind the only person who ever truly understood him. Armed with Rye's advice and unwavering support, Xian moves to Manila for college, where he must face the harsh realities of life alone. In the busy city filled with struggles, loneliness, and endless pressure, Xian slowly discovers that surviving adulthood is far more difficult than he imagined. Yet despite the distance and silence between them, Rye's words continue to guide him through every hardship. After five long years, Xian finally returns to the province he once called home-carrying success, memories, and questions he never dared to ask. But some goodbyes are far deeper than distance. And some friendships leave behind truths that can change a person forever. Filled with heartfelt conversations, biblical wisdom, philosophical reflections, and powerful life lessons, Farewell, My Friend is a touching story that explores the meaning of friendship, the weight of sacrifice, and the silent battles people fight behind their smiles.

What if the ancient rituals of our ancestors and the cold logic of modern science were never meant to be enemies, but different dialects of the same universal language? In The Pragmatic Universal, the author invites you on a deeply personal journey from the vibrant, ritual-rich landscape of a Hindu upbringing to a mechanical, evidentiary understanding of the world. This is not a manifesto seeking to dismantle your faith, nor is it a new religion. Instead, it is a "Diplomatic Philosophy"-an additive lens designed to bridge the gap between skepticism and the sacred. Through the eyes of a "Grounded Mystic," you will explore: The Fossil Record of Superstition: Reimagining ancient beliefs not as "foolishness," but as ingenious psychological survival tools and the "software updates" of human history. The Curated Past: How shared narratives and "collective fictions" have allowed humanity to cooperate on a grand scale. The Singular Consciousness: A logical deep dive into Panpsychism and Advaita Vedanta, proposing that the individual ego is merely a user interface for a universe experiencing itself subjectively. This book is a personal "source code" for processing existence. It is an invitation to view the world through a lens of profound empathy-where loving your neighbor isn't just a moral command, but a recognition that they are literally another iteration of you. Step into a perspective that allows you to sit peacefully in a room full of varying beliefs, feeling deeply connected to everyone without needing anyone to change their mind.

Humans, now selfish and arrogant, fail to understand the importance of history and nature. Benji is a walking contradiction. He shows signs of empathy, but embodies selfish behaviour. One day, his entire life changes with a selfless, yet simple action. Little does he know, this could give him just what he needed all along. _________________________________________________________________________________ ***unfinalized*** this story was a narative essay that was assigned in my english class. it ends abruptly and some parts are patchy because i tried to finish it within the deadline. The Prophetess is a gentle, contemplative poetry collection rooted in lived experience, reverent listening, and quiet wisdom. The letters within are genuine reflections that become poems-story-like meditations, each one a conversation across time. The individuals addressed throughout the collection are those who have shaped my inner world, my mind, and my heart: souls from ancient history, from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, and from more recent times, whose thoughts continue to guide me, sometimes challenge me, and often offer comfort when the world feels heavy. Inspired by the spirit of The Prophet by Gibran Khalil Gibran, these letter-poems do not instruct or preach. They do not ask the reader to believe as I believe, nor to think as I think. Instead, they honor the quiet truth that wisdom is not imposed, but recognized. The poems simply walk beside the reader-remembering those who taught me that it is okay to be a sensitive human being: to feel, to love, to see, and sometimes even how to let go. They invite reflection rather than certainty, openness rather than judgment, and kindness rather than fear, gently reminding us that to live with compassion-and, at times, to release memory itself-is a sacred act. In a world that too often forgets, The Prophetess offers this quiet truth: to be a gentle human being is not weakness-it is courage, it is light carried in the heart, and it is grace at work. 🌹
