These situations create a bond for Spring with her past. Spring carries the weight of raising 2 children all on her own and carries the love in her heart with joy. Due to experiencing extreme poverty, Spring makes her children laugh and turn poverty into games as she believes when a person smiles, their heart also responds with a smile.
