Jade just went into ninth grade, but she isn't who she use to be. Going from a Catholic school in elementary, to suddenly being home schooled in middle school. Her life shows that kindness prevails.

This story is based upon a true story about someone from my town. It is meant to remind people that kindness is not measured by size but by sincerity and heart. Whenever we do something kind it is never a wasted act.

-One act of kindness can go a long way- Bullied for being autistic, Grace Hernandez wants to disappear, until Pretty boy Logan Anders comes to her rescue. Kindness can go a long way, as Logan soon finds out. People are just people, regardless of their differences. They were made different for a reason. **Authors Note** School can be a rough place for anybody, regardless of how different they are. Those that are more different, those with autism (regardless of what form, or how severe it is), those with medical issues, etc., they have it even harder. It just takes one person to say 'hey, this isn't right,' and that's exactly what Logan does in this short story about one act of kindness that made someone's day.

She wakes up, gets ready for school, and puts on her mask. Throughout her best efforts to stay invisible, it's hard in an all white school. Her biggest bully, August Avery. Everyone loves him, including the principle. What August doesn't know is that Yeon Soo leads a completely different life at home, one that even the horrors of school can't drown out.

My wonder short story. A little different than most of these are probably going to be, but I hope you enjoy it.

Mr. Yeltz asks his first period students to do something kind. Then two days after, he asks all his students, across all his classes, to write an exit paragraph. Those in first period were asked to write about their act of kindness. The students in his other classes were told to write about a nice or surprising thing that had happened to them recently and what effect it had on them.
