Amusement parks are made for fun, so when Georgia goes, her one goal is to have a lot of fun. The Go Karts are her favorite ride. The line was long, but Georgia knew it would be worth the wait. Right when she is supposed to get on the ride, she is faced with a question. A little boy in front of her is too short to go on a ride and is without a parent to take him. Should Georgia take him? Or should she just go on the ride by herself and let someone else worry about the boy? ~~~~~~ A true story. All names have been changed.

**Nonfiction** I recount a day that truly made me appreciate my family and opened my eyes to the inherently good people in the world.

The missionary is a safe haven for any soul in this world, especially for a convict who wants to evade the cops. When he first arrived in this Loyal Society of Overconfident Fools that calls itself a damn missionary, Brian Ailer wanted nothing more than to keep his head down for a few months. No more and no less. Definitely no attachment to anyone who lived inside that stupid building. But every moral ethic in this bloody universe has an exception. Children. So when an autistic kid named Xavier grows fond of Brian, he finds himself reciprocating the innocent affection time and time again, breaking his own rules that he had spent his entire life abiding. When the time comes for him to go, will he be able to renounce the only person who felt safe with him? Or will he act on the kindness he never thought he would have?

This is my entry for #WonderTheMovie. A single act of kindness can change everything. It can have a huge impact on someone else's life. It causes a ripple in the water that affects so many people.

I entered this short story into the #WonderTheMovie contest. This is a story that shows the power of forgiveness and how important it is to be kind in such a cruel world.

All my entrees for the WonderTheMovie contest! : ) For most of these stories it represents things I wish people had done for me. Though I have encouraging friends, sometimes I need an extra push; and though I have friends to sit with at lunch, sometimes they're absent and I have to sit alone. And the worst thing that can happen while growing up, is feeling alone. So take these messages and if you see someone sitting alone, sit with them or invite them to your table. Or if you see someone struggling, help them. You never know what could come out of these simple acts of kindness.

This story is based upon a true story about someone from my town. It is meant to remind people that kindness is not measured by size but by sincerity and heart. Whenever we do something kind it is never a wasted act.

Heros do not have to be muscular, have a super ability, or popular. They are ordinary people with extraordinary heart. Josh Sandusky does not see himself as anything but an unpopular teenager until one day when he is saved through the mindset of another. Kindness prevails through one act, although it may seem as nothing but a kind gesture, it leads him to realize the one truth in life.

Growing up in the 60s and 70s, is hard enough. But being the only dark skinned family in a town is a different story. One day a girl stood up for us, and stuck by our side. This story is about how kindness overrules violence, and how kindness changes people around you.
