It always starts so suddenly. I was fine. I was so fine it could be considered boring. Then, I wasn't. I was now filled with so much self hate and loneliness that I would do anything to distract myself, to make those damn feelings go away. So, I realized the first step to getting perfect was so simple I should have seen it sooner; starve. Starve until the pain can't be felt. I'll be happy then, right?

Have you ever watched someone lose their mind right in front of you? It's quiet disturbing, but interesting. Trevor Surefire is a 16 year old from Harlem, NY who is in the the 9th grade and is suffering from depression and anxiety. He has to face these two problems on a higher level as he moves on to middle school. He realizes, the closer he gets to the real world, that things can get really ugly if his mind isn't in the right place. Trevor is told a lot that he needs help and needs to talk to someone, but he disagrees and finds it difficult to talk to anyone. He prefers being a loner, and writing what's on his mind, but the problems this comes with catches up with him. Down the road, he meets two people who both have interesting stories that affected how they are today. Once they all got together, their lives changed forever. But how?

A collection of one-shots and/or short stories about lies we tell ourselves, and how what we see, and what we think we see are two completely different things. Some are based off true stories, others are just stories based on feelings. I'm not good at explaining my feelings to others, but I love writing, but I'm not good at writing something I haven't experienced, so was born 'Lies to Tell Myself."

I changed this to a suicide quotation book. It's easier for me to update this way.
