(100-word drabble) Round 2: Yellow Belt - The confession of a stranger leaves your character confused, but will they answer your questions? (500-word flash fic) Round 3: Orange Belt - You are tasked with a covert mission deep behind enemy lines. Soon things take a turn for the worse, what happened? (800-word flash-fic) Round 4: Green Belt - Sci-fi and action mash-up (1155 words) Round 5: Blue Belt - Fantasy and action mash-up (1172 words) Round 6: Purple Belt - Adventure and Action mash-up (1180 words) Round 7: Brown Belt - Three things incorporated into the story: A betrayal no one saw coming, the Words: "Building trust is the first step in the perfect betrayal." and lastly, end with a big old cliffhanger. (1.9k to 2k-word one-shot)

I achieved Sensei status for completing each round! Each chapter is a separate entry (round) for the different challenges posted by the Write to Rank 2023 team. The contest began June 6, 2023. See the first chapter for notes on what each of the prompts were about.

Sebastian tried living a normal life, but one jumino decided to come with him. Disclaimer - I don't own Stardew Valley. This was written for the Blue Belt round for Write to Rank 2023 where I was to write a 1.15-1.2k story blending the action and fantasy genre and this is what I came up with. The story is AU in that there is no indicator Joja knows anything about the jumino in game, but this would also take place prior to the game events as Sebastian isn't living in Stardew Valley where Pelican Town is.

Sebastian is always looking for adventure, even though Robin has reason to dislike him doing so. Disclaimer - I don't own My Time or Stardew Valley. This was written for the sixth round of Write to Rank 2023 where the goal was to write a 1,150-1,200 word story combining the action and adventure genre and this is what I came up with for that prompt.

War brings about scars, scars that some are more aware of than others. Disclaimer - I don't own Stardew Valley or My Time at Portia. This was written for the final round of Write to Rank for 2023 where I needed a 5-10k story involving a focus on world and scene building, a clear protagonist and antagonist, and a plot twist which in turn didn't turn out how I hoped it would.

Sebastian doesn't take Maru's dream of becoming the first to create a true A.I. for a good reason, reasons Sebastian doesn't want to talk to her about. Disclaimer - I don't own Stardew Valley or My Time. This was written for the green belt round for Write to Rank 2023, where we were supposed to have a mash-up between sci-fi and action and I went with a post-apocalyptic setting where the achievements of the pre-apocalyptic society are being rediscovered. That's pretty much what those not familiar with the two series need to know, beyond the fact Sebastian and Maru are from Stardew and Arlo and Heidi from My Time, so the familial relationship is something created for the blending of these two fandom. Warning - Undisclosed fate of certain characters.
