This is another X-Files fanfiction, set in This Is Not Happening. (s8, e14) I wanted to create a poetic view inside Scully's mind, portraying her thoughts and feelings during the last scenes of this episode. I thought it was stunningly heartbreaking, and wanted to see if I could achieve the same emotion in my own story. It's a little experiment, and it may or may not be successful.

Fox Mulder is the most popular boy in school, and Dana Scully had a crush on him. She though they would never be anything, but as one thing leads to another maybe they'll see more in each other then they though.

Sometimes, a fresh start is okay. MSR (sculder but pls don't call it that it's MSR), blind fluff, except not really, kinda angst, pointless, maybe spoilers?

Dana Scully and Fox Mulder are partners at the FBI and have been for years. They are what many consider friends. Unfortunately, something more than friendship is on the horizon. I don't own the X-Files, all credit goes to FOX, and Chris Carter.

Three murders in London, England, and reports that a previously undiscovered animal is behind them. FBI Agent Fox Mulder and his new partner, Dana Scully, take a trip across the Atlantic to investigate. This short story X-File occurred in the early days when Dana Scully joined Fox Mulder in the FBI basement. It is the early 1990s. There are no mobile phones and little internet. This story is a traditional thriller-monster X-File investigation. The words are my own. All characters are my own except Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, which I am forever grateful that Chris Carter created. I use them here in the spirit of fan fiction, but if the legal owner of these characters wishes, I will amend the story accordingly. Thank you for reading my first attempt at writing for others. In the Spring of 1995, A murder in Southern California grabs the attention of Agent Mulder. A victim with a unusual birthmark is linked to other victims from the 1960's & 70's. But what's more unusual is Mulder believes the murderer has the same birthmark. What links the victim and the murderer to a horrible crime committed during the Civil War?
