Anxiety is a thing that many people struggle with on a daily basis. One of the things in this world that makes me the most angry is when people claim to have a mental illness such as anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, etc. simply for the sake of attention or because they think having a mental illness is something to be romanticized or will make them more "edgy" or "grunge". Well, tonight that has been upsetting me even more than usual so I decided to write this so that everyone out there claiming to have a mental illness just to look cool can sit down and keep their ignorant mouths shut. Those of you out there suffering from a mental illness, you are strong and brave, and you can do this!

I'm only uploading this with the hope that people suffering from depression and other mental health disorders know that even though the people around them may not understand, those of us fighting these battles with ourselves do... you are not alone.
