They grew up together and became each other's safe place. Everyone thought they were just friends. Maybe they did too... or maybe they were just too afraid to admit otherwise. She was sweet yet effortless, unreadable, the kind of girl who never chased and never stayed long enough to be caught. He was the opposite, warm, persistent, always orbiting around her like she was the center of his world. Somewhere between teasing arguments and silent understandings, feelings began to bloom... the kind that neither of them dared to name. Because what if saying it ruined everything? So they stayed where it was safe....hiding behind friendship, burying confessions in jokes, and letting moments slip past them like they had all the time in the world. Until.... Distance. New people. Missed chances. And suddenly, the person who once felt like home became someone they could only remember. Now, years later, they are left with echoes of a love that was never spoken... and a question that refuses to fade: If they had been braver......would they have been each other's lifetime?

FOURTEEN-YEAR-OLD Myles Cook is having a rough time. Not only has his mother run off with Jocelyn, her yoga instructor, but Myles and his dad have moved to a tiny rural island on BC's west coast to live in a log cabin. Garcia Island is nothing like Myles' old home in the city; there are no stores, the WiFi is sketchy, and let's face it, the people are strange. There's Clyde, the old guy in the silver airstream trailer who carves erotic demon sculptures, Daisy Archibald, the local coven's high priestess, and Axel Jespersen-a recumbent cyclist and angora goat farmer who is just plain nasty! Finally, there is Norm next door, a man who teaches Myles a little about llamas and a lot about life. Factor in a taxidermy raccoon (Myles' spirit animal?), a first crush, and a whole lot of growing pains, and Myles quickly discovers that truth really is stranger than fiction. But people can be full of surprises, and as the saying goes, you can't always judge a book by its cover. And sometimes, when things are out of your control, the smartest thing you can do is take a deep breath, let go and roll with it. (Well, you can try, right?)

Between Worlds follows Luna, a quiet girl with an unusual gift-she can see ghosts. Not just shadows or whispers, but full stories waiting to be heard. To her, the dead aren't gone... they're unfinished. When a string of strange cases begins to blur the line between coincidence and something more, Luna crosses paths with Yuki, a by-the-book (and slightly awkward) police detective who trusts logic over superstition-until the evidence stops making sense. Reluctantly teaming up, the two form an unlikely partnership: one sees what others can't, the other tries to make sense of it. Together, they navigate restless spirits, unresolved pasts, and mysteries that exist between the living and the dead. But the deeper they go, the more they realize that some truths aren't meant to stay buried-and some ghosts aren't ready to let go. Between Worlds is a story of connection, loss, and the fragile space between holding on and moving forward-where every spirit has a story, and every story has a cost.

Ashes to Light is a heart-stirring tale of friendship, love, and the fire it takes to survive. It all began in high school-four friends who had nothing but each other. Lyra, Riaan, Ayan, and Meher weren't just classmates-they were a lifeline. Through heartbreaks, scraped knees, late-night rooftop talks, and fierce loyalty, their bond felt unbreakable. But growing up means facing shadows you never saw coming. When a mysterious and dangerous boy named Zee enters their world, everything changes. What starts as quiet threats escalates into a deadly game, one that shatters innocence and tests love in its rawest form. As Lyra is dragged into the storm, the others fight to bring her back-even if it means risking everything. Years later, battle-worn and grown, they meet again. What was once fractured begins to heal. And from the ashes of their past, something unshakable rises. A story of survival. Of second chances. Of the kind of love-and friendship-that chooses to stay.

I blink. My arm is red now. Why is it red? I twist my head, so that I could look down. I was red. I can feel pain now coming from my chest. It hurts to breathe. Why? What happened to me? I slowly close my eyes. Time passed, and yet it also did not. Something is touching me. I sluggishly open my eyes again and try look up. Someone is there, I could see their collarbone. I couldn't focus on them any further, I was too tried. I blink. Suddenly, I realized it was loud. Everything was loud. And everything was moving so fast, way too fast. I blink once more. I was being lifted. I could hear shouting. Too loud, it hammered into my ears. And slowly, I close my eyes once more.. ○●○●○●○●○●○ Does our past really define who we really are and who will we become? Or is it the choices we make in the present that influences our future? Do we really make our own choices, or is it the expectation for us that makes us chose the choice that we make? What happens when you get rid of all expectations, other people's and even your own? Meet Vi, she's a pretty average college student that's just trying to balance her classes and all the other shit she has to deal with on a daily basis. Meet Walter, he's a guy that's kinda lost. Doesn't know who he is or what to do really. And at the moment, just floating though life. Please note that this story is kinda slow paced in terms of how much time the story take place in. Months pass by and the plot is purposely spread out. This is NOT a story that takes place over a week or a month or a few months. It takes place over a year and I will have seasons change throughout the story. This is needed for certain events that I have planned out to take place. And the romance is slow paced, I want to build a foundation, so they won't fall in love for a long time. We're both going to have to work for it. :) Also, this is mine, so please don't steal and tell me if you find it elsewhere.
