This is a collection of poems that are concise and honest in their approach. They don't preach, they simply are. Within he poems there is a thread of naivety that tugs at you, whilst at the same time there is a sense of worldliness and depth that balances everything out. All age groups can relate to it because it transcends geographical boundaries and deals with basic human emotions. It is designed to make you think, to inspire you and lift you from your comfortable everyday way of thinking. It is brave, I is vulnerable - it is empowering.

Don't let the ugliness of an angel ruin your day.

This is a metaphorical free verse poem. Author's Note / Description for "Canvas": "Canvas" is about identity, growth, and self-acceptance. It compares life to a blank canvas that we fill with our choices, styles, and colors. The poem explores what happens when outside opinions and pressures cause someone to question or even destroy their true self.

This is a fusion poem with many poems in this poem. Author's Note / Description: "You Have a Choice" is a meta-poem that explores poetry itself, while also reflecting on life, identity, and freedom. Beginning with playful rhymes, the poem experiments with different forms-mentioning acrostics, haikus, sonnets, and limericks-before ultimately rejecting strict poetic rules. Through this journey, the poem parallels human experience, suggesting that just as poems should not be confined by structure, people should not be confined by labels, appearances, or origins. The final lines transform the piece into a manifesto for unity and self-expression: that we should all be "like a free verse poem"-unrestricted, authentic, and free.
