It's about friends and family who would burn the world for each other, and family who would burn the world to be away from one another. But mainly, this story is about Rose living out her last year in high school with all of its difficulties and hardships and love and acceptance and weird teachers and mythical creatures. And even after all of that, you're still mainly searching for romance? Fine. I never thought the streets of Cheyenne could smell so horrid, more horrid than the dead raccoon that was shot by our house... but here we were. We were alive, hiding, surviving... barely. But even as I watched the undead rip the poor victim apart, I questioned in my mind: Will we ever make it out alive? Where the Crow Feathers Fall is a book based on two siblings, Valerie and Cable. We follow them through Cheyenne, Wyoming when a virus breaks out one random August day. Valerie and Cable struggle to get out of the caged in Cheynne with old, and new friends they pick up on the way. When a certain power outage strikes after a couple weeks pass, the group realizes there may be a way to stop this virus from spreading. But they learn when they venture to the lab on the outskirts of town, there may be more to this story than they realize...
