something of a memoir or personal narrative. initially this was going to be mostly for me to reflect and get over some of my trauma, but i also feel someone else could benefit from this. to make someone else feel less alone walking the line of knowing something isn't right and that you're being mistreated but the shame and embarrassment of wondering if you're simply being a baby. the "older angry sister" title and the pain that comes with it. religious trauma intertwined. you're not alone. this is just a piece of a basic rough draft, i will be coming back and adding more specific details and continuing. thank you.

Some struggles are invisible. You can look fine and still feel like you're falling apart inside. This is my story of living with depression and anxiety-not a perfect recovery, but a real experience of trying to understand myself, survive difficult days, and slowly move forward. It's not about being fixed. It's about learning to live.

Hey there, lovely people! I hope all of you are doing well! Each and every one of you!! Remember back in 2019 when I released my book filled with words of encouragement and hope? Well, I've made the decision to take that original book down and give it a complete makeover!! Have you ever had those moments when you've felt like you're not good enough? Like you're just taking up space in this world? Or have you questioned your purpose and existence, wondering why you're even here? It's not easy to fight off those negative and depressive thoughts that creep into our minds. Life can throw us curveballs and it can be a real challenge to keep moving forward. But amidst all the darkness and struggles, there is always a glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel! ✨ Credit for inspiring me to bring this back and modified goes to @Fierydragon26!! ☺️❤️

How can I sit in silence and watch the world pass me by. Many people have had a powerful impact on lives of others they knew. I just want to encourage any and all who need some. *This is not religious, political, bias, or judgmental. *This is a place of hope, support, and encouragement.

Just some kind words for those who need them. These won't be long, but I hope they help! Feel free to vent in the comments, I'll try my best to respond. All I ask is that you put trigger warnings on serious topics and don't invalidate other people's problems, struggles, etc. Sorry for any grammer mistakes. I originally wrote these in all lowercase, but because I'm unobservant, I may have missed something I should've fixed.

Radio Hearts is a youth romance set in 2006 at Green High School, a quiet campus in a small town where the broadcasting club once recorded a weekly radio show that reached every classroom-and sometimes, the heart. Mika de Guzman only joined the broadcasting club in her third year, thinking it would just be another creative outlet. But the moment she stepped into that dusty recording booth, everything began to change. Her feelings for Kai Mendoza-the quiet, brilliant sound tech-started to unfold in ways she couldn't control. Caught between the familiar comfort of Kenji Yamada, her childhood friend who's always been by her side, and the silent pull of Kai, who hides more than he reveals, Mika is torn between two frequencies of love. As the trio navigates the chaos of teenage friendships, awkward broadcasts, and late-night editing sessions, they're also learning to speak their truths-on air and off. But when the microphones turn off, their hearts make the loudest noise. The radio becomes a metaphor for everything they can't say out loud: emotions transmitted but often misheard, signals full of longing and confusion, voices that echo across emotional distance. In a story about unspoken feelings, secret confessions, and the messiness of growing up, Radio Hearts captures the vulnerability and wonder of falling in love, finding your voice, and tuning in to what really matters. Will Mika listen to her heart before the signal fades? Off air, it's all about the heart.💜 ____________________________________________

Constance Jones buried her dreams in the dark cocoon of her childhood, struggling to raise herself and her eight siblings in the shadow of an alcoholic father and an abused mother. In the years that followed, she battled against epilepsy, depression, cult mentalities, infidelity, and infertility, driven by the belief that somehow, somewhere, there must be more to life. To find true love and her true calling in life, Constance had to find herself first. This San Diego native shares her transformational journey with refreshing sass, humor, and compassion, penning a mesmerizing memoir that's a wakeup call for the soul.

Just stuff that comes to my mind, will be each 'chapter', to make you smile, or cry. I really don't like seeing people sad, or distressed, so I hope I can make things a bit more sunny in some stormy minds. No bad moods in my book(haha), no anxiety(maybe) just calm, peaceful relaxation(probably.) And some REALLY, and I mean REALLY cheesy 'poems'. And if you don't like that kind of stuff, then LEAVE! [D I S C L A I M E R] Cover picture not mine (I didn't take the photo) No swearing Some of the art Songs Quote/poems do not belong to me For all the first time readers, please acknowledge that I am better now. I don't know why I was so sad, but don't worry about me. I'll be fine (you'll get what I mean later on.) Thank you for reading Something To Read When You're Bored, have a nice day! Stay safe!
