Ah the roofs. I could sit here for hours. Just a sea of roofs behind me and a busy sidewalk below me. I like this perspective on life, being able to just watch all the drama and not be involved in any of it. The sun in front me is beaming on my face. I close my eyes and lean back, allowing the sun to engulf me.

Connor wasn't dead. He flatlined, was brought back and was put into a medically induced coma that the doctors said he wouldn't wake up from. The Murphys lost hope, and basically carried on as if he were already dead. The Connor project happened, and of course, crashed and burned. And then he woke up. [the Connor Project drama took place in junior year, so connor woke up in Senior year,bc i have no idea how to write adults ]

This is an unfinished work, originally written by my middle school self, slowly being revamped and re-written by current me. Y/N Murphy thinks she has things all figured out, and it's as simple as this: Everything sucks. School sucks, people suck, her family sucks. And the only person she can rely on is her brother, Connor. But when he takes his own life, hers crumbles around her, and suddenly nothing makes sense anymore. Now she's stuck with unanswered questions about who her brother was, and who she thinks she is. And with Evan Hansen in the picture, things get even messier. She's not supposed to like him. He/She/They went to high school, and tried to avoid any people other than his/her/their brother and step-brother. But when a kid named Connor comes to his/her/their rescue, all of Y/n's world turns upside down.

But when you meet the equally awkward Evan Hansen in a forest months before school starts your life takes many unexpected turns.

Currently just what I think the Emails between Evan and Connor actually would have looked like if they were really friends. -Based off of 'Sincerely, Me' from Dear Evan Hansen.- (May eventually evolve into a Treebros story if I get inspired.) This was inspired by the Musical, Dear Evan Hansen. Ben is the boy who was always considered to be perfect, until he came out of the closet, and his boyfriend died, but they don't if it was murder or suicide. Mitchell was the boy who was either killed or he committed suicide because he was gay and dating the "perfect" boy.

This is inspired by the song Found/Tonight, listen to it I highly recommend it. I have been working on this story for a while but I wanted to publish it all together. I hope you enjoy!
